This place stay screwing up orders. I usually take the L and keep it moving. But today ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese , sunny side up and got basically two omelettes on bread. They don't care, so why should you. Go some place else. read more

Went in to pick up some cough drops and the guy behind the counter couldn't bother to look up and greet me. Super short with me when I asked if they took Apple Pay. When it came time to close the transaction, he just gave me the receipt and kept his head down. This isn't the first time it's happened. I've gone in there at least 2 other times and received the same kind of service. At this point, it would be a surprise if they were nice in there! The store is clean, and they have a good variety of healthy-ish items and other regular Deli fare. I'm all for supporting our local businesses but this ain't it. Came to get 2 sandwiches on my lunch break. I only ordered one, since hot and cold sandwiches have to be ordered separately. The guy on the hot sandwich side completely ignored me when I asked 3 times can I get a hot sandwich. I walked over to the store on the next corner to get my coworkers hot sandwich and when I returned, they apparently stopped making the sandwich. every time i order food, something's wrong. i order a bacon egg and cheese, they forget the bacon. i order the same sandwich on a bagel, its on a roll. i order it w ketchup and mayo, its dry as hell. i order a bagel w cream cheese and bacon, no bacon. and the price ???? i get 2 bec one on a hero, one on a bagel 2 vitamin waters, guess how much? $23. literally insane. the guys behind the counter are nice, but cannot seem to get it right. don't waste your money, go to the other deli across the street. way better food and never mess up the order. read more

Not your typical neighborhood friendly deli, went there numerous times in the past and I think my last encounter will be the last time I do return. They do not use a set price to charge customers but charge what they want. They charged my wife 12$ for each 3 sandwiches that only contained 2 fillers each one which came all came out to 36 dollars just for 3 sandwiches. They also charged me 20$ for 5 bags of ice recently when they used to charge me 20$ for a flat of 8 bags last month in august. They just make up price numbers as they feel like and charge you. Their menu clearly shows sandwiches prices which they have updated due to inflation yet they disregard their own prices and charge how they please! read more

A few years ago this was a friendly establishment. They had different people working behind the counter. Today I went in and ordered a hero. I went to look for a drink and when I came back to the counter I was told my sandwich was ready. I said that it wasn't mine I ordered a hero. So, he told the guy making the sandwich what I wanted and he said no she didn't I asked her several times. This was a lie, but I remained calm. I said you never repeated anything or asked me anything other than do I want Mayo. He said no I asked you several times and he started to have an attitude. I was still calm. He then said I don't have time for you. I have a real customer to deal with. This real customer was a white male. A professional would have said sorry I didn't hear you.. there was a misunderstanding but instead he lied.. and was rude. I won't spend another dime at this store. I catered for Easter Sunday April 20, 2014. A 3 ft hero Italian and American, wings soda salads pickles mustard and mayonnaise. I also ordered a pan of Ziti and Lasagna. Casa Doro Deli is # 1 in the Bronx, I had the rest, but this is really the best. All the people at the Deli are so nice. They called me the night before to confirm everything in my order and time of pick up. The food was just delicious, the 3ft hero is sensational everything was fresh. The lasagna and baked ziti homemade, you just want to keep eating, it tastes so good. My guest enjoyed every bite and wanted to know where this Deli is. This deli is mad nice ion know what these other people have been saying. Me and my family have been going to this deli for years and their service was always nice. The atmosphere is mad friendly and very nice. The workers are sociable to everyone and each other. They make their sandwiches dumb fast and get you out right away if you're in a rush. I know some of these other reviews are from years ago but I never had any of those problems you guys had. read more

I got an account with yelp just to rate this disaster. Went in twice and should have known after the first time that I should never go back. If they were to actually pay attention to the customers I'm sure they would charge for it. Everyone who comes into the store is supposed to know everything there is to know about deli's and if you don't be prepared to have attitude shoved in your face. The people who work there are too busy talking to each other to be of any real assistance. I'll get my sandwich fix somewhere else, thank you very much. Great deli! For many years now faces change eve so often but great service with a smile good quality food and they always have root beer lol. And when ever we are out late it is kind of our tradition to hop off the last express bus from the city and go get sandwiches. Even though it is late and I'm sure these guys are tired the still smile and make us great sandwiches. One night I came home from work exhausted and I accidentally left my purse on top of the candy shelf. When I realized it the next morning I was ver upset to say the least, it was all the money I had to buy groceries. I called there and the young man said don't worry I have it. Just like that don't worry I ran in after Orkney the next day and he wouldn't take a dime just glad to help he said. Customers for life. read more

I've ordered breakfast and lunch sandwiches during the work week numerous times. Every meal made right and quick. Boars head deli meat and produce is always fresh. My coworker always orders the tuna wedge. I love how they're super efficient and you're in and out within a New York minute. They give free coffee with any breakfast. read more

Went here on a Saturday morning while visiting. It took 45 minutes to get the food. Ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese with egg. Received 2 bagels with cream cheese and bacon. Except for the fact that the service was terrible and they gave us the wrong food it was an excellent time. On the next day we went to the market across the street and it was a much better experience. The food was much more prompt and accurate to the order. read more

Reliable breakfast deli, solid sandwiches from the nicest dudes out there. I've been coming here since I was a child, it's always a welcome atmosphere and crafty sandwich making. My usual suspects are a sausage/egg on a roll for breakfast, or a godfather on a roll for lunch. Couple that with good bread, and a good corner on eastchester, and you've got a Pelham Garden staple. read more

HANDS DOWN greatest bacon egg and cheese. The staff is super cool I've been going to this spot for twenty years now since I was a little kid. The sandwiches are always packed and are priced well. I paid $6 for a turkey lettuce and tomato on whole wheat wrap and it was huge. Definitely one of my favorite delis in the Bronx. read more
