It has the cave essence in the air and the music is light. We were shocked to see it somewhat empty after we took our first bite. The food was delicious, flavorful and rich. The drinks were great. I would come back on my next visit. There is a bit of a walk to the restaurant. This is attached to a hotel and the parking is on the outskirts while the restaurant is on the other end. It is a bit of a walk so take that into consideration when scheduling yourself. We were about ten minutes late five or take.

For breakfast, we shared the chilaquiles rojo with beef and we both got some fresh squeezed orange juice as well. This dish was so delicious and very filling and the oj was very refreshing. We scheduled a tequila tour, which ends up at this restaurant. We were given some mango margarita slushies at the end. Everyone else got the regular margarita slushies ;) On the other side of the restaurant is where you can buy a variety of tequilas, but they didn't carry the one I wanted. We had dinner in town, but were still hungry, so we decided to come back here and check out their dinner options. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice start. There were limited flavors of agua fresca, but I tried one anyways. We shared the arrachera jimador, which was such a huge portion. It came with beef, sausages, guacamole, beans, and tortillas. It was very flavorful and we were so stuffed afterwards. The staff is attentive and welcoming. I had a great experience each time I was here!

From the availability of parking spots for golf carts, beautiful luscious walk to the venue, beautiful bar and reception area, and the literal steps to the beach, this place was perfect. The margaritas and food that were served here were some of the best I've ever had and the staff worked so hard to ensure that food was constantly served and drinks were never empty. I wish I took pictures of the food and drinks but they were so good that I didn't even think of it! I would love to rent this venue out for my own vacation event in the future!

Where do I start? Let's begin with the food. Outstanding. I started with grilled octopus tacos marinated in salsa pastor (tacos de pulpo al pastor). The octopus was so tender served on blue tortillas with marinated onions. Perfecto. My son had the tacos de arrachera. Flank steak. Super tender beef. Prepared with chile chipotle. Must try. I then enjoyed the tostada de pulpo en tres chiles. Yes, three different chiles. It was not spicy at all- just delicious. Take my word- just order it. You'll thank me later. The place is so beautiful with it's luscious garden, bar and patio. So nice they have weddings there. You'll have a great time. What are you waiting for?

A+++! Martoca Beach Garden created the most perfect, magical, and spectacular wedding celebration…read morefor my son and new daughter! The constant communication, planning, attention to detail, service, décor, florals, food, and music were all absolutely exceptional and truly over-the-top! From the ceremony rehearsal to guest transportation to the seamless flow of the entire day and night, everything was first-rate! I highly recommend Martoca Beach Garden for your Mexican destination wedding! Mexico - specifically Puerto Vallarta + Bucerías - is safe, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. You can't beat the weather, the vibe, and the genuine kindness of all the people there! Our guests had the best time, and our bride and groom have an experience they will remember as the best weekend of their life!

Martoca Beach Garden is THE wedding venue…read more I have heard horror stories of trying to plan a destination wedding; however, this was the easiest experience I have ever had. Having a full service venue with the best wedding planner, photographers, florists, servers, bartenders, fireworks -- honestly Martoca has the best of everything. As a bride, not having to look through every vendor and navigating contracts and figuring out taxes and gratuity was so helpful when planning a wedding in a different country. The thing I appreciated the most was how quick and easy the communication was with Jimmy and Mariana. They also understood and respected our budget without trying to do any up-selling and even helped us take some of the more expensive budget items off and had other similar options within our price range that they suggested. You truly feel like family and not like a number to them, which was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. And when there that one day event in Puerto Vallarta, Jimmy was very upfront and honest about everything and I never felt like he was hiding anything. That being said, I and my guests walked around Puerto Vallarta (I got married in March) and felt so safe. If any guests have concerns, they should look at the live cameras and see how the boardwalk and life was immediately back to normal. One of the best parts, besides the most amazing wedding day, was the tasting day. My husband and I signed a contract sight unseen, so when it came to tour the venue and do the tasting we were very excited. I was not expecting the food to be as amazing as it was. One of the top responses from our guests was how fresh and amazing the food was. And I completely changed my vision and the whole staff got out the different tables I was envisioning during the tasting and wedding planning day without complaint. I didn't have to change a single thing in terms of florals and the hardest part was figuring out what tasty cocktails to serve at cocktail hour because all were so good and same with the food. Also, the al pastor tacos and churros are a MUST for the late night snacks. The day of the wedding was so easy and I didn't have to stress about a single thing because Mariana and her whole team had timelines for me, my husband and our wedding party and family. I always knew where I needed to be and what time every little thing was. The staff also never let any guest have an empty drink, which for a wedding of about 80, was so impressive. They were even bringing rounds of shots out onto the dance floor and drinks, so the party never had to stop. I do recommend the fireworks and the donkey! The fireworks are sooo impressive and your guests will love taking photos with the worlds cutest burro. The Martoca Film team needs their own special shout out. I came with 0 inspiration photos and said just do whatever they wanted and they delivered! Every photo and video we received, you can just see the artistry behind the camera. And they were so much fun and easy to be around. I truly loved the whole team and they are BEYOND talented. I could write a book on how amazing our wedding was and how easy the whole process was. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions. If you are thinking about going with any one besides Martoca, you are doing yourself a disservice. I may be biased, but this was the best wedding I have ever been to. And we had guests tell us that they wish they knew about this venue when they got married because it was the most magical day for them as well -- which says a lot. I love being a part of the Martoca Family and any time I'm in Puerto Vallarta I will be making it a priority to say hey to the whole crew!

We were tired from a long day of travel and our brains were working a little slow. Our server were kind, patient, and offered suggestions but not in an overly pushy kind of way. And the items they suggested were not the MOST expensive on the menu. Our server asked us what we were in the mood for and suggested some dishes for us to share. She was spot on. We started with queso fundido with Spanish sausages and some guacamole with chips. For mains we had the Torta Haogada () and Carne en su Jugo () (traditional tequila beef stew). Both were EXACTLY what we needed after a long travel day. Now the best part, the original and handmade margaritas. . They have a whole variety of specialty margaritas and my little Puerto Rican went a flutter when I saw they had a margarita with guayaba puree. They also had one with Higo flower which is sweet and delicious. Both margaritas were AMAZING. I can't wait to go back and try some more of the food and the drinks.
