Looking for delicious fish? Don't be fooled by the name of the restaurant... While the interior of this restaurant looks stylish and tasteful and the waiters are friendly and attentive (especially at the beginning while you're being seated and before/while you order) the dish we had (three flavors of sea fish of the day for EUR 20 per plate) left us unsatisfied.
The dish consisted of two "arms" of octopus, one butterflied large crustacean in its shell with head attached (for the dramatic looks I guess) and a small sized fillet of fish (half the size of a kid's hand - to give you some perspective on what I mean by "small"). The octopus tasted just fine (upside: not chewy and rather large in size), the crustacean tasted very fishy (we're guessing the product was definitely frozen and not "catch of the day" quality) while the fish filet was the "winner" of the plate (if you HAD to use the word "winner" to describe any part of the dish).
Cuperto is priced ok at EUR 2,50 per person, large water is priced fair at EUR 3,00 and esspressi are EUR 1,80 each. Overall, prices are ok for a tourist spot but don't expect delishiousness for a EUR 60+ bill for two in this restaurant.
Since the restaurant looks clean and is nicely decorated and the outdoor space overlooks the lake and is also taken care of well we would maybe come back for pre-dinner drinks to soak in the views. But don't enter if you expect fine dining - even though the appearance of the restaurant (and the well-dressed guests) suggest otherwise. read more
