Historic guitars date more than a 100 yrs old

Flamenco is wonderful, and often is accompanied with dancers and singers that are emotional and passionate. But if you want one that is much more focused on the guitar aspect of the performance, this is exactly the place. The technique, performance, passion, the tempo is outstanding. They also have a huge collection of historic guitars from the last 200 years. Think of the Stradivarius, they have that level of guitars on display. The player of the guitar for the evening we went was Javier, and he was so educational and friendly. He gives you a very brief history lesson about the origin of the different music, dance, singing, and clapping styles. So that you are oriented to transcontinental pervasive of flamenco music. Do not miss this, it was well worth it

As our travels brought us to Sevilla (where my son is working/living) he recommended to come here for a Flamenco show. We took his advised as the three of us came and arrived a bit early which you can be seated earlier. As you walk inside there are several show cases of guitars to view. The inside is small and very intimate with several rows of 4-5 chairs across on both sides. Honestly you can only seat less than 100 people. The show starts promptly on time and it what absolutely wonderful. Since, the location is also an education center the stage is small thus providing just a female dancer showing different styles of flamenco. The guitarist and vocalist where amazing. If you are looking for a show that leaves you wanting more in a good way then come on by.

Very authentic and affordable flamenco show! Paid 15 euros and was able to get front row seats in this small venue. No microphones are used, so you get the full experience of the guitar playing and singing. The flamenco dancer was gorgeous and absolutely amazing! So much emotion expressed on her face as she cycled through very detailed and fast faced dances. Would highly recommend you check this place out!

Enchanting. Captivating. Unforgettable. Seducing. I could list every adjective in the dictionary and it still wouldn't accurately describe how many different emotions I experienced watching this show. The venue is super small and intimate and kind people running this place truly love what they do. The guitarist was beyond talented. He was gentle, personable and so expressive when he played. The singer was heartfelt and I couldn't seem to take my eyes off of her while she sang. Despite having no clue what she was saying, I still felt connected. The flamenco dancer, where to begin? When she began dancing, my eyes immediately teared up. Her performance was pure magic. Her expressions, body movements and the raw power she exudes was undeniable. Everyone in Sevilla NEEDS to experience this place. At about $20 usd, it's a steal and a great way to spend an evening.

Is a must if you are visiting Sevilla. I wish I could give them a 5 star review but in my opinion, another show (very close to this one) was "better". The performance was beautiful and the place is small but so cute. They do not sell any water or alcohol.

    Amazing performance!

I wish I could give them 5 stars since all the performers were so amazing and I really enjoyed it. Before I bought tickets online in advance (a couple weeks ago), I read some reviews that you could get good seats (the very front row) when you buy tickets in the morning on a same day. Guess what, we were the 3rd row from the back! Then I realized that all the families with young kids were sitting in the back seats. (They'll ask your kids' birthdays when you buy tickets online). I was very disappointed with this. My 7 year old was more excited about going to see it, but lots of people were in front of her and she didn't have a good view.

What a fabulous performance! It was our first experience with Flamenco and we were completely mesmerized by the grace and elegance of the dance performer. She was so skilled and was performing with so much passion! It requires so much energy and emotion and the lady carried herself so elegantly on stage! Her dresses were lovely too! The guitarist was playing so well and had a wonderful voice! Loved it and would highly recommend it especially if you are a first timer here!

WOW! My jaw dropped and my eyes swelled with tears when I saw this incredible dancer command the stage with passion, force yet femininity, and elegance. The guitarist played incredibly beautiful music as a man sang with such pain and emotion. I'm not really into dance so I didn't expect much from the show, but when the dancer looked out with such emotion as her feet sped up to a storm--it grabbed me by surprise. They took me on a journey that was just fantastic. Her dancing was mesmerizing. I'm officially a fan of flamenco now.

You could feel the passion throughout the museum, and it helped me understand the sport. Some highlights for me were the beautifully decorated chapel, the detailed matador costumes and walking unto the field and viewing the stadium up close. If you are visiting, and you have an extra day, I definitely recommend you taking a look.

As times have changed and the treatment/protection of animals been made a priority, the sport has declined in popularity and been banned in most countries. Spain and Mexico are two countries that still allow the tradition to carry on. Nonetheless, it remains a part of history and culture. If you find yourself in Spain, it's a must that you visit the museum. Sitting in an empty arena is definitely an experience. It was awesome to reflect on the amount of people that walked through the doors to see the spectacle of man versus beast. If you have the appetite to watch a bullfight, I recommend that you do. The bulls are not wasted, but later cooked as part of the traditional celebrations. The museum space itself is small, but the grounds of the arena are impressive. The courage it must have taken to walk out to the center of the arena and test your fate. Tour the museum, look at the artifacts, and learn about history.
