Here for the first time and so pleased! The place is small but very well set up. The food was delicious! The bread was freshly made and served with seasoned oil- yum! We had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer ($16) which were the best we've ever had. Then we had veal parm ($33 & better than NYC's Little Italy!) and linguine with white clam sauce ($28) which was filled with clams! We both got dessert: ricotta cheese cake and lemon cello cake, which was homemade. Delicious! Our server, Joe, was professional, polite, friendly and attentive. It's BYOB and they opened our wine without a charge. We met the chef, Mike, who could not have been more personable to us. We defiantly will go back! read more

Right out of the gate Casa D'Angelo is running on all cylinders. Ambience great, service impeccable, and most importantly food - delicious! Another "mini-yelp group dinner" and it was terrific! It was a Thursday night so it was not too crowded or noisy. the restaurant is small and not too crowded (tables are nicely spaced) and the overall ambiance was very nice. The food - All meals come with a small, but tasty house salad. We shared an Eggplant appetizer along with an order of mildly spicy mussels and both were excellent. Entrees consisted of two Boneless Stuffed Pork Chops, two Flounder, one Filet of Sole and a Pasta with Clams. Our waiter (server #1) was friendly, informative and patient as we can be a little picky at times. Desserts, shared, consisted of the Cheesecake and Tiramisu - very good, along with coffee! The restaurant is BYOB and reservations are recommended. We will be back! read more

Saw this under construction and thought "I'm gonna miss Miletto's deli" after it was completed we stopped by and checked out the menu. Authentic choices so boom! Made our dinner plans. We were not disappointed!! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding . Greeted by Mike the owner upon arrival and attended to by Dena. The decor is nice and clean, tables are comfortably situated and you get the feel of a nice busy restaurant. We had fried zucchini as an appetizer and it was a bushel full!! Main entre was filet of sole which my wife loved the broth and preparation . I had veal parmigiana and it was great .bread is made on site and is warm and crispy. The sauce is full of chunks of tomatoes and very tasty. In fact we started dunking our bread in the zucchini dipping sauce !! Highly recommend this fine dining place. Made a rez on a recommendation from a friend.arrived 7 minutes early for party of 5. Let me state place is small you will not be seated without your entire party. That said ,everything after we were seated was Excellent!!! Appies stuffed mushrooms rice balls calamari, specials great service waiters they never hover they just appear .food is Delicious!!! Cappuccino to finish. Yes it a bit noisy that's because everyone is busy celebrating food, family friends. Oh and it's BYOB. The food and the service were great. From the second we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with a smile and brought immediately to our table. Our server let us know that they were getting down to the wire with one of their popular special dishes, in case we were interested in it, which we greatly appreciated. The portions were very nice and the flavor for all of our dishes was delicious. The only reason I give this rating a four instead of a five is due to the ambience. The restaurant has recessed lighting that was not able to be dimmed. When you're having dinner in a restaurant, at some point in time you would like the lights to be dimmed just a bit. It was a little too bright and took away from the mood. This is something that is easily remedied with a dimmer. I hope they take my recommendation. All in all it was a very good experience. read more

Everything about Casa D'Angelo was outstanding! our appetizer which was a sliced roll of mozzarella cheese stuffed with eggplant and roasted peppers over a Kale salad, was delicious and so unique! My main course of Lasagna was better than I make it and my husband claims his halibut over risotto was the best fish he's ever had in a restaurant! The limoncello cake for dessert melted in your mouth. Out server Elizabeth couldn't have been nicer. Cant wait to go back!!!! read more

The ambiance was wonderfully understated. We shared Calamari and it was nicely served and not overly breaded..the best we had in awhile. I had a " special "..salmon stuffed with crabmeat..perfectly cooked! My friend had linguine with red clam sauce..again beautifully presented and delicious! What an incredible experience last night at this amazing new restaurant in point Pleasant ,let's start with ambience as soon as you walk in the places, immaculate, the music was spectacular It had a really amazing feeling when you walked in. next the service the best service I've had in a long time I'm. The staff was so attentive and so accommodating the young server Michael walked up to our table told us we had to have the rice balls I've been in Restaurant Business for a long time it was nice to see someone so enthusiastic about a special I had to have them and I don't even like rice balls. He was so passionate about selling them, and they were humongous and delicious!! Now the food best stuff mushrooms I ever had, we had a pasta course. I felt like I was at my dinner table at home growing up in the Bronx. It was so delicious , for dinner my wife and I both had specials. My wife had the fish I had stuffed pork chops. New quaint Italian restaurant with great service, super friendly employees, and I'd have to say excellent calamari, house, salad, and food made with love. Pricing was excellent too. A lot of food for the price, BYOB. I don't live in Point Pleasant Beach. I live in Northern Bergen county and my parents live down there and it was their first time going too and we definitely will return. I wish them all the luck. read more
