And after having breakfast here a few times, I have to agree! Best baguette I've had in Rio so far (even better than my beloved Talho.) On the weekends, they serve a breakfast buffet for $42 which includes a hot beverage. Besides the usual ham, cheese, papaya and fresh juice there's also yogurt with toppings and a variety of cake and bread. A waitress comes around with freshly toasted bread as well. The dining area is small and probably best suited for parties of six or fewer.
The other half of the building is a storefront that sells deli products, wine and local/foodie pantry goods that you might not necessarily find at Zona Sul, like chocolate from Beth Chocolates and Strumpf Ketchup. read more
