Inside is a plethora of goods with something for everyone. The store is clean with no musty 'antique' odor. Items are provided by various vendors and are artfully displayed with very reasonable prices. There are collectibles, costume jewelry, vintage books/ephemera, toys, vintage records, household items, bicycles, vintage clothing /accessories, and much, much more. I was told that vendors change the merchandise in their areas often, meaning that there should be new items to see on future visits. The shop is contained in 2 small houses next to each other, on the corner of Evergreen Rd and Old Shelbyville Rd. The staff in both shops were very welcoming and friendly, leaving us to browse without stress. Plenty of dedicated parking is around the buildings. Allow plenty of time for your visit so that you can see all the goodies! You are likely to find something that you didn't know you needed!

It consists of a barn and a nearby house originally built in 1912. The main store (barn) is well laid out and easily navigated. Prices are quite reasonable, inventory well displayed, and very immaculate overall appearance. Definitely worth multiple visits throughout the year as inventory changes. I purchased a Big Blue M&M Peanuts cookie jar with lid and add it to my March Madness Decor. Perfect for sausage balls.

Packed as well, with all manner of knickknacks, antiques and weird odds and ends. I wouldn't go looking for one thing in particular. It's likely better if you go to have fun browsing, and then any great finds are the cherries on top. MPM is a bit of a maze, so it seems like you want to block out at least an hour to peruse. We saw furniture, toys, books, clothes, housewares, records, jewelry and more, dating back to several time periods and decades. I ended up buying sheet music for jazz tunes that mention "Kentucky" and "Louisville" in the titles that I plan to frame at some point. The prices on most items seemed reasonable, but it can vary booth to booth. If you fancy yourself an antique lover, bargain hunter or just like looking at weird and beautiful things, this is a place to check out.

There are tons of booths and everyone prices their wares differently but you can find good deals. Good value for the most part. Today I found an item I was interested in that sadly had no price, so I took it to the front desk and they were very helpful and called the owner of that booth, but had to leave a voicemail. Unfortunately I had to leave before they got an answer, but they took my name and number and called about 5 minutes after I left. I couldn't return but so appreciated their help! It's fun to walk around here, but also it feels dated and cluttered sometimes. Plan to spend time to enjoy looking at everything if this is your cup of tea!!

Was in store yesterday and one of my fascinator's was missing flowers. Brought to attention of ladies at checkout and very rude in response stating "well they get tried on and it could've fallen off and swept up". Ok so could these be somewhere in your store? Nope basically thrown away. Do not take your fascinators or hats here to sell as they evidently can't protect your items and attitudes are they don't care!!! Won't patronize this store now for no apology or any kind of empathy or compassion. Took my other fascinator out so that one wouldn't be destroyed. The least they could have done is apologize!

Almost every booth had been displayed neatly and it was easy to browse their things and/or see the displayed prices. Several booths were reasonably priced, which had not been my previous impression and that was a nice surprise. As mentioned in my previous review, the booths also had a similar vibe - very farm house style. While I enjoyed shopping the booths, it began to feel repetitive and I didn't leave with a purchase. Service is at the front desk. Lots of good conversation with customers checking out, but no greeting coming or going. The store was warm - perhaps a broken AC in parts of the building. About midway through the store, I considered leaving because the temperature was unpleasant. This store shares a space with Kroger, restaurants and other stores. Plenty of parking.

Between Elizabeth's Timeless Attire across the street and 2023 Antiques, this may be the one block I always get to. (Then go have coffee/dessert at Sweet Surrender down the road) There's a lot packed into this medium-sized vintage boutique -- and Bakelite collectors & fans should head directly to the case in the back upstairs, which showcases a serious collection -- but I spend my time happily gazing into the front jewelry cases (flashy costume pieces are the focus, but I think if you look long enough you could find most anything) and the museum-quality assortment of Lucite handbags (I have now bought two here, and have to stop myself from calling them "My Precious" and stroking them covetously.) There's also mid-century furniture and decorative objects, gloves, hats and a few dresses, but oh the handbags handbags handbags handbags oh sorry, was I saying something? I got distracted by LOOKING AT THE PRECIOUS. (Seriously if you have never seen Lucite handbags before, this is such a fun place to check them out. I entered with a mild interest, and left with an absolute fetish.) This store is aimed at a enthusiast/collector crowd, and prices are not cheap - but I've never seen anything not in lovely condition, and I've loved every purchase I've made here. (And some things, like gloves and smaller items, can actually be a total steal) The owner is both fun and very knowledgeable - definitely a place to strike up a conversation while you browse.

It's like a huge Goodwill or an indoor yard sale with the occasional genuine antique hidden here or there. That doesn't mean this place isn't worth a visit. It is! Especially if you're a junk junkie like I am. It's just that this store is not very well curated, so you'll see things that probably should be thrown away next to one-of-kind treasures. I spent the better part of an hour just walking down the aisles and looking at all of the booths filled with miscellany. Vendors' Village is huge and looks like it used to be a grocery store. The lighting is harsh and bleak, like it is in a grocery store, which could explain why I felt a little unsettled while walking around. I kept thinking I saw things out of the corner of my eye, or that people were behind me. I didn't and they weren't! But this place did give me the creeps a bit.
