Peddlers mall has several locations spews throughout the city of louisville. What they basically are is a daily year around flea market and yard sale where people rent out booths on a month To month or yearly contracted deal with peddlers mall and setup merchandise with there own pricing and the workers at peddlers mall ring up the transactions and take there contracted cut. Thai particular location is off outer loop in the high view area of the city. Like pay peddlers mall you will find a wide variety of things from clothing, home goods, furniture, toys, decorations, jewelry's and just really any things you can expect to find at a yard sale. This location is a rather large one. If you are like my wife and oldest daughter they can come in here and browse for hours. As each booth is packed so tight with merch and there are so many booths. One main reason we come to This location a lot is there is a place in the back called Cindy's alterations that does dress and clothing alterations really cheap and quick and does a great job. We've taken several of our daughters dresses or outfits here to get altered. Any time someone asks about alterations I always suggest peddlers mall on outer loop and get some Strange looks. But they do a good job. Overall pretty standard peddlers mall for anyone who has ever been to one before. If not then I'd say if you like to bargain shop, attend flea markets or go to yard sales then you will enjoy these locations. If that isn't your style then you may want to pass. read more

There is a lot of really great antiques here and they are reasonably priced. I didn't buy anything here but there are a few pieces that I am going to go back for. The prices here are so affordable. Fun place to spend time shopping!! Vendors and staff go out of their way to make a great experience.

Stopped in on a rainy chilly afternoon. Several of the vendors have some nicer things now. Some of the vendors must not pay rent. We had fun and made a scavenger hunt out of the visit. There is an equal mix of old and new in this location. The ladies up front are always nice and busy working. But don't try and get over on them - they are watching you on every camera!! read more

So, while darling husband was hitting golf balls in 100 degree heat (aka: Heaven to him), I went exploring around the area and came across Peddler's Mall. What looks like an old Big Box store of some kind has been transformed into a flea market type store. I had no idea what this place was, and this is what I found on line about it: "This chain of secondhand stores is the brainchild of John George who hit upon the idea of renovating big box stores to open up flea markets in the mid-nineties. George typically rents the lease until it runs out, when control of the building defaults to the real estate company managing the lease. Then the Peddlers Mall moves on. " When you first walk in, you think "oh, OK this might be pretty awesome." Until you work your way further into the back. To me, what it looks like they originally said was "please, antique dealers only." Then, "hmm, we dont have enough takers, Ok anyone willing to pay the booth fee can come on in." Because there are booths set up like mini grocery stores full of food, booths selling cheap toys and socks, and booths selling what looks like the clearance rack at Wal-Mart. There is not a lot of furniture, and what furniture there is isn't worth a damn. I guess if you live nearby and want to spend an afternoon picking around, you might come up with something. Otherwise save the trip to Peddler's Mall, unless you are really needing a bulk pack of Tostitos of questionable age and condition. read more

Bought a compression water hose that had a huge leak. They said tough luck as it was sold as-is. So how do you check out a water hose before buying it to make sure it isn't full of holes? It seems to me that hidden defects should be covered. In addition, the booth vendor should be ashamed of him/herself to putting a faulty product out. Shouldn't they have tested the product to be sure customers would be happen instead of scammed? I blame the Peddlers for this problem actually. If a vendor knows there is no recourse for selling faulty products, why should they quit doing so? BTW, they do allow a 24 hour return policy for electronic items, so why not garden hoses with holes in them? read more

Me and my mother purchased $280 worth of furniture from this Peddlers Mall while loading the furniture in our vehicle outside three different women checked our receipt three different times check the drawers of the furniture twice to make sure we were not stealing after the third time my mother vocalized at this point this is offencive we will definitely not be back to this location. read more

This is one of my favorite Peddlar's Mall that's around town. The reason I love this one is the fact that they have a wider variety of vintage (50's and 60's) items than the others. Another plus about this space is the fact that it's not filled with the junk booths (i.e. booths that just sell packaged food or items that looks like someone bought as surplus from Walmart). They accept cash (of course) and credit cards but you have to have a minimum purchase of $5. Shopping carts are available for those big haul finds and they do have a decent supply of building material such as wood and carpet. They have a wall of shame (shoplifters) that's fairly humorous when you walk in because it's the worst possible pictures of people. Definitely allow yourself 1+ hours if you really want to dig into every nook and cranny this place has to offer. Lots of booths with furniture, kids items, stuff from the 50's-90's all reasonably priced. read more

We bought a mattress set about a week ago and we had kept it inside the nylon but yesterday we decided to take the nylon off and we couldn't sleep, it has bed bugs which I don't understand since they were selling it as new. Do not recommend going there. read more

Dealers/ buyers beware!!! Just spent an hour and half or so shopping here. Hand picking several items from several different vendors. When I get to the checkout I had asked about some of the booths that were marked 20% off. The cashier that apparently was aggravated to either be at work or have to work said they don't have a scanner to scan tags. That was pretty obvious to me but the tags are input to the register/computer with a vendor code. My assumption was it would then calculate the discounts. This employee proceeded to tell me she knows all the booths with discounts. Not likely. Then as I put my hand picked items that I spent a bit of time collecting on the counter she proceeded to be somewhat aggravated and was banging the mostly glassware I had picked. I spent a good amount of time looking for good pieces that were NOT chipped. I didn't need the employee chipping them on the way out. I had about $100.00 worth of items. So I said if you continue to bang these items I won't take them. I then got attitude as she was not doing anything wrong here. So I decided they can keep all the items and walked away. I did really want the items I spent time picking and willing to pay for. But this employee ruined the sale from my perspective. I will not likely ever step foot is this business again. Sad that is the only way to make a point and a potential change nowadays. Hopefully the proprietors and dealer/vendors take note of the poor choices of the unhelpful employees. There are other choices. Exercise your rights to choose and not except poor quality help anywhere. This unfortunately is rampant in today's world. I for one will not except sub par help. There are better local Peddler's Malls. Clarksville, Shelbyville Rd, Bardstown Rd all have better merchandise.

Dropped in to the mall today while running errands. Made a great buy-1958 stylized modern watercolor. Original signed art and nicely framed. Also found early 70s Blenko glass sand cast ashtrays. Very heavy pieces in free form mode. The mall has furniture glassware and lots of everyday housewares. And there are cool vintage pieces if you root around and pay attention. read more

I have been going on and off for years there. I have even had a booth there but I will think twice about going back! I had heard some terrible things about the manager and how she had been terribly rude to the customers.I witnessed it first hand. I was walking by a booth when this bench caught my eye. I looked and it said 7dollars. I could not believe my eyes. I redo this size bench and sell for 65 dollars. I got so excited I didn't know whether to run up there and tell them I wanted it or take the sticker up there to them because I thought it would be to heavy to lift and I didn't want anyone else to grab it. Well as I was peeling the sticker I stopped and just decided maybe I could push it up there and I did. When I got to the counter, that is when I peeled the sticker off and handed it to a girl that was working there. I wanted to continue shopping so she said I could put it off to the side so I did and continued to shop. I noticed the manager was walking down the isle looking real stern but I had not paid that much attention until she started acting weird a couple of other times around me. When I got to the desk to pay she lowered her voice to the other girl and said 7 dollars like she was in doubt that it was really that price.I noticed she was watching the cameras closely. I am not a thief nor has she ever thought I was before. In fact when I had a booth there a large pogo stick and my husband's large telescope on a large tripod came up missing. How did someone walk out with that without being noticed? We think it was an inside job what else could it be? See when I shop at Tickled Pink in the rough room as it is called, which is separate from the rest of the place. The owner wants you to take off the sticker and bring it into him instead of the piece of furniture. I just was not thinking clearly when I pulled at the sticker because I was so excited. She should have used common sense and weighed my character before she went off half cocked on her thoughts and actions. read more
