I never ever eat anywhere else when I visit Newcastle for shopping. Why would I want to go somewhere that could only be second-best to this. The food is standard, nothing spectacular but for the price it is great value. I would highly recommend the Calzone, although it can be quite heavy. The amaretto cake for dessert is one of my favourites. One of the most disappointing aspects of Santanas is the staff. Some of them are polite and well trained but some our quite rude and comes across aggressive. Another downside of the place are their receipts - still hand scrawled pieces of paper. Main Course Pollo agli Asparagi Chicken in a cream sauce and asparagus. A portion of vegetables/potatoes comes with the main course.
