During my 4 week stay in Rome, I actually dined here 3 times and tried to dine here about 6 times…read more This place is not your typical Resto since it is joint with a karate studio owned by the owner who practices that during the day and makes fabulous ramen at night. He will buzz you in. The BEST is the pork based soup kimchi ramen (donkut?). The soup is just like the one I had in Japan and the "best" places in NYC and Toronto. Maurizio the owner is super nice and his gorgeous wife is also there on weekends and is just a sweetheart. Most of all, delicious app, the best ramen and good desserts. No sake though, only Japanese beer. Overall, if you like ramen, CALL and make a reso. The neighborhood isn't the best so don't go without a reso and be rejected since the place is tiny!

I was curious as to what the local ramen would be like, so when I found this small restaurant run out of a dojo by a guy who had studied in Japan, I wanted to go! I went with a group of three people and we split an order of the classic gyoza and takoyaki to start. The gyoza was very interesting, almost like a seared ravioli, and not as traditional of a gyoza as I am used to. The takoyaki was very delicious, with the fresh seafood in the middle mingling very well with the freshly prepared batter and the toppings. I got a bowl of miso butter, and my friends tried the tan-tan men and curry ramen. I'd probably say that the broths across the board were relatively saltier than I'd like. The noodles the first time around were a tad overcooked, but the kae-dama was cooked al dente. It's funny, because I'd almost forgotten how non Sun Noodle ramen noodles tasted! I chatted with the chefs about my ramen adventures in the US, as well as my own attempts at cooking some tonkotsu, and it was overall a great experience. If you have a craving for some ramen and you're in Rome, this is the place to go.

We figured it was an answer to our rice issue and off we went in search of rice and sushi. Food: they offer an unlimited option for lunch and dinner and have a big list to choose from. There is also an a la carte menu. We chose to go with the unlimited and were satisfied with our pickings. We ordered: Sushi: Tamago Dragon roll Salmon roll The sushi was good, rice was cooked well. Other entrees: Fried rice Katsudon Pork cutlet Fried chicken cutlet Ebi tempura Tom kha soup Everything tasted good with the exception of the tom kha soup. Appearance wise, the coconut milk was real bubbly and taste wise, something was off. after one sip, we figured it would be safe not to eat it in fear of bubble guts. All in all, we would visit again if the rice craving hits. It's a decent price, food is made to order and the staff are nice. They make it a point to let you know that whatever food is left over, they may charge you extra, so order wisely! Location: its a 5 minute walk from the Termini station.

The tall filipino girl, just stood there and had a stone face stare, when I told I her I didn't want to sit near the entrance door where the cigarette smoke was coming in, she asked us to stand outside instead and wait until they open and we watch her moping the floors pass the opening hours. Highly unprofessional. When her friends came in, like a school girl jumping up/down. The way she explain how to operate the machine was confusing. She didn't offer a printed menu, we had to ask for it. She wasn't as helpful as expected. The Food needs much improvements as it Fried Chicken was dry and tasteless...this indicated it was frozen and not fresh. She erved rice way before the food came, it ended up cold. Ramen Noodles, egg on top was well done, 2 sliver pc of meat taste like leather, 1pc of seaweed and green onions, only thing that taste good was the broth. The Teriyaki salmon on the stick must've been frozen fish...dried and tasteless, had it not been for the sauce, this would've been a turn off. While paying...not one thank you or a smile. This whole experience was a joke and not worthy of a repeat in business. I wouldn't even rate anything, but I'll give it 1 star to post this and hopefully that no one else have to go thru this uneventful experienced
