My regular GP continued to tell me to "eat better and get more exercise" but never got to the root of the problem. When GLP-1's became a way for him to make a little extra money, my GP - the guy who refused to even talk about weight loss medications by the way (except for Medifast, which tastes like you're licking the ground) decided to offer them to his patients. Desperate to get my numbers under control, I paid $1500 for 4 months of shots. I spent the first 8 weeks with no side-effects, that I knew of, the exhaustion I felt was horendous, couldn't work out and then the nausea set in - add the two of those together, the inability to get up and not eat, I was a slug. My GP didn't have a check-in shchedule, and I was not given any advice on how to do the GLP-1 successfully. Which, if you're wondering, I wasn't at first. I didn't lose any weight until my 12th week - right after Dr. Dae and I had our 1st conversation. The first thing she suggested was blood work. Once the bloodwork came back, we had an in depth conversation about what was happening inside my body, making it harder for me to lose weight on the GLP-1. Under her supervision, I started fasting from 8pm until 11am. This helped with the insulin resistance, and just like that - the weight started to come off. I've lost 13 lbs in 20 weeks. Yep, a slow process for sure, but I chalk that up to having a bad start and no guidance. I've started getting up earlier, feeling better, and I now ride my stationary bike everyday (did you know you can make a street bicycle into a stationary bike to save some money and get some exercise?!) and when the weather is right, I take the dog for a walk, sometimes twice a day. My hot-flashes are non-existent as well (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself)! I only have 23 more pounds to lose and to be honest, I would never have figured this out on my own - it's been the partnership I have with Dr. Dae that has made me as successful as I am.

I usually don't write reviews, but I thought it will be helpful for the customers to know what you are getting injected and whom are you dealing with. The staff all look very professional and they try to sell you fillers at a discount price, but the way my face looks, I will not even buga face cream from this spa. He might do a good job the first time, but after that, youll see a completely different results. Also, if you want to take the risk (hope you are smarter than me and don't even try) have him bring the fillers in the room, so you see what he is injecting in your face, don't let them fool you. you'll be wasting your money because they are not injecting BOTOX OR FILLERS. BE AWARE AND PULL HIS NAME UP AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF. The practice is a disaster. Wait times for visits exceeding 2 hours.  On more than one occasion I…read morehad to leave without being seen due to the excessive wait and my other obligations/appointments.  At my last visit I was actually seen by Dr. James.  While in the process of providing the above feedback when she asked how it was going, she cut me off mid sentence stating "hold on, I didn't go to medical school for this".  She then brought the office manager into the room who, along with the medical assistant, had to bear witness to her tantrum.   At one point I thought that perhaps she realized her behavior  because she softened her tone and admitted that the practice needed to greatly improve in the customer service area of patient care but she then doubled down and again repeated "I didn't go to a top rated medical school for this".  To say I was appalled is an understatement.  Practicing medicine involves way more than prescribing medications; perhaps Dr. James was absent during that lecture while attending her "top rated medical school".  While it's lovely that Dr. James is so impressed with herself and her accomplishments but  that type of grandstanding is best served in her staff meetings or during her daily affirmations in the bathroom mirror, NOT to a patient who is there to seek medical care.  Patients go to providers to seek help for their medical conditions which is often a very stressful and vulnerable time.  Patients do not deserve to be subjected to such disrespectful and boorish behavior ESPECIALLY when the disorganization and inattentiveness is a direct result of that provider's poor business model.  Along with fixing her lofty attitude Dr. James may want to instruct the support staff to inform patients when they are making appointments that wait times often will exceed 90 minutes. It's called managing expectations so that the patients can plan accordingly or decide if the practice is the right fit for them.  As for the office staff: The receptionists, medical assistants and most importantly the office manager were beyond amazing.  Unfortunately that does not compensate for the disgusting behaviour of Robyn James, MD.
