He had worked on my car before, but on December 14, I was involved in the most terrifying accident of my life. My car spun around one and a half times on the freeway before crashing into the center divider with so much force that it practically split in half. The freeway was shut down, and the officers told me I should not have survived. No exaggeration--the first person I called was him. I work in Lancaster and live near Woodland Hills, and he took care of arranging the proper specialized tow for my electric Mercedes EQS all the way from Lancaster to my home. At a moment when I was terrified, shaken, and had no idea what to do next, he made me feel safe and taken care of. The best comparison I can give is that he is like a great doctor with an exceptional bedside manner. He is knowledgeable and skilled, but just as importantly, he is calm, compassionate, and trustworthy. Sadly I had a fender bender with my older car that State Farm decided to then total over fairly minimal body damage. They were incredibly patient as I worked out the process with insurance, Katherine assisted in getting an appraiser out and getting me over to a rental. Tom helped go over my options with me and gave fantastic advice on dealing with insurance and the best option. In the end, I decided to pay out of pocket because of the issues with State Farm and rescinded my claim. I know I could have bought it back salvaged but I had my reasons. Tom worked with me on parts and fixing what was necessary to help with my budget. They went above and beyond and even helped to fix some dents on a panel I did not want to replace to make it the best we could. I got my car back and I cannot believe how great it looks! They also detailed it for free and I felt bad as I delivered it in quite a state having gone to Joshua Tree the weekend before with it so it was very dusty.
