When I offered to buy the car which…read moreI subsequently did, I noticed that the inside of the car was covered in dog hairs, smelled and had two scratches to the bodywork. They assured me they would deal with these matter. Few days after I bought it, the car start to smell of wet dog. I looked better the interior of the car discovering the unimaginable. The car was so mess, dirty and smelly something to make anyone shudder. Also I noticed a big issue with the body-paint that it was impossible to see before because when I picked up the car it was raining. Basically when they sorted the matter with the scratches the car wasn't fully masked and the remaining paintwork was coated with overspray. When I went to the dealer they assured to sorted this. there followed three attempts by them to resolve these matters but on each occasion it was unsatisfactory. On the first occasion I waited a couple of hours while they tried to clean it and deal with the body-paint issue but nothing changes. they booked one-day repair service. When I returned for the second time I left the car for a full day but when I went back still nothing change. I asked the refund as me and my wife wasn't happy about the condition of car. The manager Sam intervened asking the reason of my decision. Again I showed the damage to the bodywork and the matter with the dog hairs and the smell inside the car. I showed also a video and a lot of pictures of the car that the manager decide to book a five days repair service and I and my wife was assured that they would clean off the overspray, take the seat out , wash and dry and re-put the back seat on ( the main matter with the smell). After five days I visited the company, I still had to wait as they said it wasn't ready. However once finally I saw the car I clearly hadn't been dealt with. Under the consume right 2015 I asked for a return of my money because I was still in the 28 days rule by law. The salesman Mark said I would have to wait until the manager returned from his holiday. I asked If I could buy another car instead but was informed that the value of the car was now £1.5/£2k less than I had paid it less than 3 weeks earlier. I left the car to dealer as I didn't want go back with an unsatisfactory car. The following week I rang the dealer asking to find a solution as I needed a car. After few calls he said they were not prepared to refund the cost of the car as they were satisfied about the car!! I was also told that if I didn't came for the car they would start to charging me a daily parking fee. I felt at that stage ( I needed a car) that I had no option but only to pick up the car). I can accept to had a bad deal this time but I cannot accept the doggy games of the dealer. Go there for a repair and not find nothing done. The other annoying thing is how it is possible that a big motor group like Stoneacre can actually sell a " bin of s***t " like this. also It was funny that one of the salesman replied to me saying what do you expect from a car of three years old, my answer was so simple that he disappear for a while." When I count my money on that desk the money wasn't smelly of wet dog". Anyway after few days I bought from EBay another seat set which I swapped by my self. This gave me the opportunity to clean the car properly as it needed . What I found inside was disgusting, which only makes anyone think of throwing up. As soon as I will have a chances I will find someone to fix the matter with the bodywork ,But Don't worry Stoneacre we will see soon I bought with the car the 5 years warranty so we will have a fun later on. Ps I need to book an appointment as the air-con doesn't work as should be matter that is remind to the manager in the emails.

5th, Jan, 2014 just after Christmas and New Year and happily decided to use Servicing Stop the 2nd…read moretime and they chose Wellington Garage (the on in Bolton) as my service provider. (first time was about a year ago but not with this garage). I thought they would use same local garage or at least same standard like last year, but this time they used a local garage that's 15miles away from my home (Wellington Garage MOT Centre) -- and got the worst experience ever from this Wellington Garage!!! In my comments left on the initial online form I requested them to 1) fix a small scratches at the panel below my front door 2) fix a door that couldn't be opened from inside 3) check horn because it doesn't always work 4) service light indicator on my BMW - I was quoted about £180 for the full service that was initially agreed online, they gave me a call quickly after my car was collected, telling me that 1) I need my engine oil replaced for something like £50-60 and I accepted it. 2) They told me they will polish my car for around £30 (can't remember the exact figure but I know the final cost from payment email) which they will fix the paint 3) They told me in order to fix the door they need to ship off the entire door from the car body and investigate which will cost about £50 - I was concerned and then agreed (and now regretted!!) When the car was returned by an old driver, he told me that 1) they couldn't fix the paint because they don't have the facility to do this 2) they didn't ship off the door because it will be too much work, and they believe the door isn't faulty because they didn't find any problem 3) they didn't fix horn because they need to open the gear to check details 4) they didn't fix service light because their engineer couldn't get into the BMW computer system I was utterly shocked by what has been done and what hasn't and immediately gave them a call once I got back to my apartment (now I regret again because I shouldn't have left that driver gone!) I called servicing stop and they transferred me to the service provider, the service provider argued with me over the phone saying that 1) it was me who confirmed to have the car polished -- and I shouted at him: HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A CAR BEING POLISHED WITHOUT CLEANED AND WASHED? 2) he confirmed they fixed the door -- and I shouted again asking why he charge me £50+ saying it needs to be shipped off the car while the driver told me they didn't bother doing it be cause it will be too much work?! 3) he said he never guaranteed to get the paint fixed -- while I totally got irritated, and asked did I ever wanted a polishing (no mention they didn't do the polishing work) - I purely agreed on this because they will fix the paint!! Anyway, problem didn't get resolved. I knew my money total of £332.69 has been successfully robbed. To be honest now I even wonder whether this garage really did a thorough full service to my car, and even worse it make me thinking whether they have done anything worse on my car that they'll never tell! Any one who use Wellington Garage or Servicing stop -- read my review and share my anger - and I hope you can spread out my word so the garage and Servicing-Stop will understand how important it is for them to be honest and trust worthy. I'll continue submit my complaints to as many websites as possible as I don't think I'll get any positive call back from Wellington Garage or Servicing Stop.

I figured I'd give them a go and Chris managed to fit me in for a full service and MOT at short notice (and on a weekend too... amazing!) so 8am on the Saturday morning I set off... Carwurx is hidden away off kirkstall road behind Kwik Fit so you wouldn't really notice it if you weren't looking but once you're on Washington street it is easy to find as you just follow the road round. Chris quoted me a good £40-60 less than the other garages so (given my past experiences at the likes of Kwik Fit) I was expecting to turn up and find a load of extra charges on top of that or a long list of work that had to be done... But no! I was pleasantly surprised to be mistaken. I was only charged the amount quoted, all work done well and although I need my brake pads replacing at some point there was absolutely no pressure to have it done there and then and I got a quote for the work if I chose to have it done by Carwurx... which I probably will! Great service, great people, great price!... I think I've found my new garage :-)
