When I asked the girl at the counter what she'd recommend, she showed me a few different suits and recommended bond-eye and showed me where they were. I grabbed a cute blue one size fits most bikini set and it fit so I bought it. This is not a cheap brand but I knew I'd have it for a long time, so I went for it. Fast forward to my Hawaii trip, my friends noticed the top and bottom were two different colors. I checked the tags and they are two different brands and some color faded from the bottoms that weren't bond-eye. I didn't wear them more than twice because I didn't want them to fade anymore. After I got back from the trip I went in to ask about it and they took my number and said they'd ask the owner about it, but no one ever called me. I followed up again and the girl at the counter called her but the owner said no refunds. I wouldn't typically ask for a refund, but with it being such an expensive suit, I would have loved an alternative option or some type of discount towards a matching top or bottom. Especially because it was a slo swim employee who sold me the suit. Some grace toward a returning customer would have been nice. She was distracted by her boyfriend in the store while I was there, which doesn't typically bug me but it would have been awesome if she had told me they were two separate brands. As a busy mom of four, I don't have too many luxuries anymore and would have loved to have a nice Matching suit but now I'm just left with two expensive separate pieces. Check the tags yourself, because the girl at the counter might not. Hopefully this helps any other mamas looking! I honestly loved this business and am just really sad about how this went down.
