    We had a fire a year ago this past December 2020. …read more Carpetland put carpet in 1 room and wood floors thru rest of house in July of 2020. They put in wrong color carpet, and the wood put down is a disgrace to their business. Mel was manager at the time, he came to the house 3x and down on his knees he put a quarter between the floor boards. He said we will be out to fix it, he wanted to replace boards where they were not put together,but my husband said no just fix the problem. He agreed to sent someone out to fill in spaces between the boards. Also their were holes around doors left which he said they would also fix. Plus baseboards were not put down every where and connecting pieces between rooms were not finished or were not right. Mel sent a man out to correct things and he was here for an hour and left. Figured he would. be back to finish another day, but he never came back. So I kept calling Mel and he kept putting me off. I called every week for months and no one ever came back to finish floors. Next thing I knew. Mel was gone and Trevor was in charge. Well Trevor said things were in a mess and He was trying to get things in order and it would take a few months. So I said ok, but wanted the floors done, as soon as he could. So now July2021 ended yesterday, and I have called him every wk and he just kept putting me off. So this month of July, Trevor made an appointment for a guy to come finish floors on JULY 7 ,2021, well he was a no show, and Trevor never bothered to even call. So I called next day, and he said the guy that was coming had hurt his leg. So I gave him a week and I called Trevor again, and ask if the guy was back to work and he said yes, but that he had sent him elsewhere. I then ask why? Because I said he should have been sent here. So he made another appointment with me for JULY 21, and of course it was another no show. IT'S THE END OF JULY NOW AND TREVOR HAS NOT CALLED WITH ANOTHER EXCUSE. SO ITS NOW BEEN A YEAR SINCE CARPET AND FLOORS WERE LAID AND NOT FINISHED. THEY WERE PAID THE INSURANCE MONEY BACK IN JULY OF 2020. IT WAS 11,000 OR 13,OOO, AND IT IS NOW A YEAR LATER. I HAVE THE WRONG COLOR CARPET, AND AN UNFINISHED FLOOR. THIS IS FRAULEIN AND DISHONEST THEY HAVE NOT JUST DEFRAUDED ME BUT ALSO THE INSURANCE CO. BEING CHURCH MUTUAL. IF ANYONE KMOWS WHAT TO DO IN THIS CASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. NANCY @434-238-2068. Have done pics 2x and for some Reason they have not posted. I HAVE 9 PICS IF THERE SOME WAY I CAN GET THEM TO YOU.     The whole ordeal with Carpet Land on Electric Road in Roanoke VA was a mess!! The subcontractors…read morethat lay the carpet had attitude, spoke very little English, made me feel uncomfortable in my own home and cussed. My husband came home early to be here with me. The contractors ripped the step carpet out AFTER they laid the padding and made a huge mess on new padding. They cut a hole in my padding for a "hump" area and when I said something the contractor told me maybe I should get another contractor. I let the manager, Blane, know of what had been done and he called contractor while working at my house and contractor was loud and unprofessional. (I have voice video of this as well) There was not enough carpet that I paid for after contractor had started laying it, so then manager told me they only had a darker color in stock of same grade. (I had movers coming that weekend so had to take what I could get at this point otherwise it would be the following week for carpet) When I discussed the seams the contractor said I would see with the salesman Ron, Ron told me if I didn't want to see seams I should have spent more money. Ron suggested he should just give me a refund and I can go somewhere else, knowing I had movers that weekend! and 3k is what I spent so carpet was not cheap) Nothing less than a jerkface. Contractor asked my husband to do a final walkthrough and left my home before asking my husband if it was satisfactory. Carpet Land is a joke. Never again, and I will be going to the BBB as well. I have videos and pictures to support everything I have said as well.

    The manager Keith definitely needs some work on how he handles customers. What a bad attitude and…read moreit showed as the store was empty on a Saturday where other locations were busy. Hopefully upper management sees this and gets this taken care of or finds a better manager with good people skills. We didn't even get a hello when we walked in but was very nasty to us. We will not be returning and are doing a lot of home upgrades.
