After contemplation, I came to the conclusion that the "Famous" actually refers to their brands ... and, if that's the case, they definitely hit the mark. Big brands, different styles, and plenty for men, women, and kids of all ages. Plenty of Nikes, Converse, Sketchers, Puma, and Under Armour is your looking for athletic shoes or sneakers. They're also stocked with winter boots: Doc Martins, Bearpaw, Columbia, and Wolverine are a few I saw. And yes, dress shoes, slippers, and sandals are in abundance. I'm a fan of Vans Off the Wall, and usually go to the outlets ... now I'll drop by FF on my next Vans quest. Yup, they've got those Light-Up Sketchers high-tops your kids have been coveting. Actually, they've got a solid selection for kids of all ages (they even have BABY shoes!). FF has some great prices in clearance, but I hope you have small feet. Everywhere else, the prices are reasonable. Look at it this way: You don't have to wait three days, you get to wear 'em out of the store, and you don't have to break down the Amazon box and put it in the recycle bin. The customer service is great at the Jordan Landing location. They were available to answer my questions, but not lurking over my shoulder. Overall, definitely a great place to buy shoes. They may not be "Famous", but their brands sure are.

I then went to the store in the afternoon and my wife selected a pair of ASICS shoes, which is 5 dollar more than Kohl's, Asics official site. But i think with the annual 10 dollar off, it is still a good deal. I then proceed to check out and i provided my number to the store employee Heather. She told us the final amount is xxx and we told her that we have this annual perk $10. She replied this coupon can only be used on the web or on the app. It doesn't sound like we could use that "perk" in store. So we decided not to buy the shoe. But then i double checked my email, it says i could use the "perk" in store. So i went back to that Heather and asked her if i can apply that perk to the purchase. She said "Yes" and then added "if you guys didn't walk away". WTF. We would not walk away if you asked about " do you have the email with you?". It is you, Heather, that keeps us from making that purchase. DSW should seriously think about customer service training. And with that attitude, even i could use that perk from the email, i have decided not to make the purchase this time and ever again. I will not buy anything from DSW again. Guys, one quick tip, just google the shoe you want to buy while you shoeshop at DSW, and you will find the price is usually not very competitive at DSW. Good luck!

Also, the fitting rooms are not roomy, neither are the isles. So if there's two people in there, it can get crowded walking by. I was standing up against the wall asking my wife for her opinion, making sure I wasn't blocking anyone when all the sudden I hear a very rude "EXCUSE ME" like I was blocking everything. There was more than enough room to go around, but she was just upset I was asking my wife for her opinion. Then a "REMEMBER if it doesn't fit put it here don't put it there". I'm fine with a reminder, but tone and body body language really play a large part in how something is communicated. This should definitely be addressed. Additionally, all the dress shirts are skinny or slim fit and mostly all blue. Not much of a variety.

Service has always been good whether it be cashiers, guest services or employees around the store that I've asked questions to. This location has a Starbucks and food area. Both have been open recently, not sure if you're able to sit down in the dining area tho. Masks are required, carts sanitized as well as there is a sanitizing station at the door. I don't know if it's for customers but it's there. Store is normally clean when I've been there and only a couple times I've seen random items in the wrong place probably because of customers just putting them down wherever.
