For years I've kept many of my good pieces I no longer wear collecting dust in my closet. They were too nice to just give away, and I didn't know where to take them. I recently went in with several of my designer purses and dresses. After a very thorough look over, my items were accepted for sale. Within days my items sold, and I was able to pick up a check! Alyssa and Amanda (two of the sales associates I met that work there) were so friendly and helpful. You won't believe the great prices on the designer purses, shoes and dresses they carry. I went in to drop off my items and did not expect to shop for myself. I wound up purchasing two shirts I've worn several times and absolutely love.

Dolly's does not have their own parking lot but there is inexpensive metered parking around the corner. The store is crammed from floor to ceiling with costume jewelry but is arranged by type and color. Best of all it is very inexpensive. Most of it is fake but I did see a few sterling pieces. Based on the tags I saw like the ones from Macy's, it seems to be overstocks. This is the kind of place you want to enjoy exploring with you girlfriend or daughter. BIG SCARY POP UP STORE…read more.. These Spirit Halloween stores are popping up everywhere in closed stores in high traffic areas. They dont vary too much by the amount and type of merchandise but they definately vary by management and staff. This one is a free standing pop up store behind the ABC store off Flamingo Rd and Sunrise Blvd opened two weeks ago. This store has very cool full size movie theme characters some that move and some with sounds. Easy to view most of the sections from any position in the store. They have an adult costume section in addition to a large kiddy costume area. I even saw dog costumes - which were funny. Lots of costume accessories and scary home items like light ceramic type skulls for $9.99. Also, plush scary pillows and creepy dolls. They do not carry men's costumes above 1X Large but you can find them on Amazon. Pumpkin carving kits are also available. Friendly staff quick to assist and answered my questions. Fun place to browse or buy.

It's that time of the year again. Halloween!…read more Every year at this time, Spirit Halloween pops up. Upon entering, there were all kinds of interactive scary, but fun animated experiences for every age. Kids were all around them, laughing and enjoying in the Halloween fun. They had a huge variety of Halloween costumes and accessories to complete any character that you would like to be for Halloween. There was no presence of employees walking around to help. If you need help, you'd have to walk to the front where the cashier was located. I picked out a couple costumes to try on and asked the cashier at the front where the dressing room was. To my surprise, there were no dressing rooms. Her response was that you could try it on over your clothes or you can purchase it and bring it back for a refund if you don't like it. To me that's very inconvenient. I might as well order on Amazon, which had basically the same costumes at a lower price. All in all, it was a fun experience, but left with no costumes in hand. I give Spirit Halloween a 3.5 star rating because of the lack of service and no dressing rooms.

I first discovered Ecco shoes on the clearance racks at Marshalls. Over the years I had purchased…read morea pair of ladies walking sandals and a couple of pairs of "dressy" sneakers for my husband. I believe I paid close to $30 each for these items at Marshalls, after browsing the outlets, I discover they are more like $60-80 at the outlets. Yikes! The outlet does have some deals, but you have to kind of know your prices. A quick search on your phone on the internet should help you figure how much $ you are actually saving. During my visit, I was able to pick up a nice pair of dress shoes for my husband for $59. I was there during a buy one, get one 40% off sale. I scoured the store looking for a second pair and found dressy loafers for him. The loafers did have a couple of small blemishes on the sides, but I'm sure he would scuff them after a couple of wears anyway. I noticed a sale table by the front register, the best deals seemed to be there, but it's worth giving the whole store a once over. The clearance rack was just meh, kinda pricey stuff. Now you do pay more for the shoes here, but they are super comfortable. Hubby and I both have high arches and the shoes from here tend to work well for us. This is definitely a place worth visiting if you have problematic feet. I walked out with the 2 pairs of men's shoes for a total of about $110 including tax.

I was offered $$$ on the spot and they even offered to Zelle it to me. Before I left, I had to look around at what was in their show cases and they had just about everything in the way of dressy jewelry, wedding jewelry, watches and other accessories. She is hilarious, interesting to talk to, and clearly loves what she is doing. I always find the coolest and most interesting things here. My younger sister always manages to find her unicorn pieces here. She has somehow found her ceramic jars in odd shapes (a walnut, a peanut, a strawberry, etc.) here. She will only purchase if: they're from a thrift store, if it's hand made, and lastly if it's a certain size and shape. That's pretty freaking specific and we don't come here every weekend. I call that destiny my friend. The owner has that eye for "weird" and "interesting" and I promise you, you'll never leave empty-handed because of it! I drive from Miami, specifically the downtown area and I will continue to do so. It is always worth the trip. I also got both of my sister's hooked, along with all of our spouses. If you're in the area, or not anywhere even close, stop on by or plan a trip. At the very least you'll leave with having had a great interaction and a smile! I also have to briefly mention that I broke a cup here. I NEVER break anything. I'm not just saying that. I truly never ever break anything in a store. I could not have felt more like trash at that moment. Let me tell ya, the employee never once made me feel bad or less than. She said accidents happen and kindly suggested I use a basket next time (I always use a basket, my freaking husband set me up by asking me to hold his dumb plate). Please don't be like me and break something here, but please also know that humans with empathy work here. Had that experience gone any other way, I probably wouldn't have ever returned from the sheer embarrassment. Im so grateful I'm able to come back and show my face. And for curiosity, no I don't hold ANYTHING in my arms anymore lol. This shop has relocated and used to be called "Find it! Thrift it!" but it's definitely the same store with the same awesome. I haven't gotten a chance to stop in yet, but from the pictures it looks bigger so that means even more stuff! YES!

Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service and Pathetic Merchandise -- Avoid This Store!…read more I have rarely encountered customer service as obnoxious, rude, and unprofessional as what I experienced at this clothing store. The attitude was appalling, the hospitality was nonexistent, and the overall experience was enough to make me never want to spend another dollar here. And let's talk about the merchandise. The quality is so appallingly poor that these items seem to go beyond first- or second-grade rejects. They look like the kind of castoffs that even the Salvation Army might turn away, only to somehow find their way onto the racks of this store. The quality is absolutely dismal, yet apparently the owner expects customers to shop here and tolerate his attitude on top of it. Speaking of the owner, the behavior was every bit as disappointing as the merchandise. You would expect someone running a business to understand the basic principles of customer service, courtesy, and respect. Instead, the owner came across as arrogant, dismissive, obnoxious, and needlessly rude. Quite frankly, the owner has the personality of a gnat and the customer service skills to match. A little humility and a great deal of basic manners would go a long way. Let's be clear: customers are not asking for special treatment. We simply expect to be treated with respect and to find merchandise that is worth considering in the first place. When the products are this disappointing and the person running the store is this unpleasant, there is absolutely no reason to spend a single dollar here. There are plenty of other businesses that deserve customers' money. This store, in my experience, is certainly not one of them. Bottom line: substandard merchandise, atrocious customer service, and an owner whose attitude is even worse than the products being sold. Save your money, save your time, and shop somewhere else.
