She was able to help me with my items when my children's place credit card was put on hold since i was in a different state. She called customer service for me. The customer service representative didn't know what to do. But since i received a text confirmation if i used my Children's place CC. Once i confirmed, I let Msrlene know what had happened. We put back the money from my debit card back and charged the amount to the Children's place credit card. Most cashiers would have a difficult time with transactions and would refused to help or give customers attitude. Children's place cielo vista mall is lucky to have Marlene as one of their staff. I went in not looking for anything in specific but I always walk out with something. I found a couple things that I was going to buy and I made my way towards the front. As I'm looking for the end of the line I notice that I had already passed the end! Wait what?! I scan and look to see where it ended and I kid you not the line was about 30 or more people long! There were only a few cashiers ringing customers up and the line was only getting longer and longer. The line definitely scared me and therefore I decided not to buy the merchandise I had found. I found myself in the area for work and decided to stop by and pick up some items I needed during my lunchtime, I figured, 'hey, its a Neighborhood Market Walmart, I should be in and out in 15 minutes (that's what she said),' and boy was I wrong! Started with some moron driver not respecting the crosswalk and almost running me over, because speeding in parking lots means you're really tough. Then inside was full of people wandering aimlessly and obstructing the aisles, then one of these geniuses spills cooking oil all over, making the ONE aisle I needed inaccessible while they cleaned up, and because it was oil, cleanup took more than 20 minutes. So I don't get most of what I came for, and I headed over to the checkout, and it was just my luck that the lady in front of me was price matching, haggling, and feigning confusion over the prices of just about everything she was buying. Upset, I left that line and got in one with 3 people ahead of me, and I kid you not, I was checked out before the lady at my original line was. To their credit, most of the employees were in a helpful disposition, the store was well stocked in the areas I could access, and the prices were very good. It's mostly not the store's fault that the shopping experience here is awful, and they're obviously not hurting for business, but this Walmart isn't for me.

Situated smack dab in the center of El Paso off of I10, it has still held its ground in the dystopian closures of malls and when the grand structures of what once held down America are becoming few and in-between. This mall is still running strong and I have to say that free parking at this mall is such a blessing. It's a tad surreal how you get used to paying for parking to shop in other cities, so it's refreshing lol. Yes some stores might not be ideal and someone is bound to offer you a "free sample" in a kiosk, but it's a fun place to experience time to time.

My son's shoes were $65 and mine ended up being $32.50. If you sign up for their rewards, you get $10 off your purchase during your birthday month.
