CrossRoads Shoe Repair - Terrible Boot Repair cracked the heel

CrossRoads Shoe Repair

(4 reviews)

This shoe repair shop deserves zero stars. And I wish I could get a refund for wasted time,…read moreenergy, gasoline and destruction of my boots. First off, the person attending the shop took almost 6 months to complete a simple repair on the boots. This proprietor likes to chat it up with every customer that he can entangle into long useless conversation On one of the many times, I went into the shop, (that by the way is ridiculously FILTHY) to ask about my boots. He forced me to wait upwards of 15 minutes or until the client trapped in wasting time woke up and ran away. This occurred on several occasions and every time he had some empty excuse as to why the boots where not ready. For instance, he said the boots where not ready because the cold weather did not allow the glue to dry. The boots had already been in his shop January and February 2025 I am a patient person. I taught high school kiddos. I understand the power of patience, understanding and being polite. However, at this point I just wanted the job done so that I never ever have to return to that rachet establishment. Finally, the job is done, and my boots are awful. The hill is cracked terrible shoddy job. This exemplifies this person's ineptitude who basically does not give a filth about their job. He ruined a good pair of boots. Whatever you do not get shoe repair at Cross Road Shoe Repair at 8036 N Mesa El Paso TX 79932 #915-540-0550 (they never answer the phone)

When I returned , he apologized and told me he had forgotten to bring the purse. To come back in 2 more days to pick it up. 2 days later I returned to pick up the purse but he had forgotten to bring it again. I was able to pick it up a week later, after I called the place and make sure he had the purse. I wasted so much time! The place is very small, very dirty and disorganized. I will never go back

I purchased a pair of quality leather riding boots (Clark's) a decade ago that I really like and…read moredidn't want to donate after much wear. They are so comfy and get a lot of use. I have tried many times to shine and restore them myself as they have aged, but I just don't have the skill like that. The last time they got a good shine was years ago in the airport lol. I got tired of them sitting in my closet looking dusty and old, so I did a quick search for a solution and y'all led me here. Thank you so much! The location is an old hole in the wall of a gem. A little hard to find, but look for the "Mulligan's Shot Bar" signage and you'll see them. I wasn't sure what to expect in cost, but I couldn't be happier with the outcome overrall. They didn't need any actual repair, so it was just $13 for a little spit lol. When I dropped them off, the gentleman said they'd be ready by next day afternoon. I thought that was a quick turnaround! Well I received a text hours later that they were actually ready same day!! Amazing! They don't have a credit card machine, so be prepared to pay CASH ONLY! So glad I can wear my boots again while it's still chilly out. There's more life to live! Highly recommended!
