My husband found Mr. Javier's shop based on the great reviews and his 40 years of experience -- and we are so glad we did. Mr. Javier was warm, honest, and extremely professional from the start. He took great care of us and the purse. The repair was completed on time, the craftsmanship was outstanding, and the bag looks beautifully revived. The pricing was very fair for the quality of work. First off, the person attending the shop took almost 6 months to complete a simple repair on the boots. This proprietor likes to chat it up with every customer that he can entangle into long useless conversation On one of the many times, I went into the shop, (that by the way is ridiculously FILTHY) to ask about my boots. He forced me to wait upwards of 15 minutes or until the client trapped in wasting time woke up and ran away. This occurred on several occasions and every time he had some empty excuse as to why the boots where not ready. For instance, he said the boots where not ready because the cold weather did not allow the glue to dry. The boots had already been in his shop January and February 2025 I am a patient person. However, at this point I just wanted the job done so that I never ever have to return to that rachet establishment. Finally, the job is done, and my boots are awful. The hill is cracked terrible shoddy job. This exemplifies this person's ineptitude who basically does not give a filth about their job. He ruined a good pair of boots. I picked up my shirts and they still had stains on all the collars, on all of my shirts. It's as if they just took the shirts and hung them back up and then gave them back to me on the pick up date. When I dropped the shirts off, I specifically pointed out the stains on the collars and ask they be treated. I don't understand how this is so difficult because my podunk dry cleaner in Hawaii was able to take care of these shirts with no problems, consistently, and we live on an island with limited resources. You get one chance to get it right. If you can't even provide the service as requested, then that's it. You know it's bad when I have to take time out of my busy schedule to write a review like this. Every time I see my shirts hanging on the rack with the stains on them, it bugs me enough to warn people about the lack of service this establishment provides.
