The ER checked me out and told me to follow up with an opthamologist in the next day or two. I called and was told flat out no, we will not take you, we don't do ER follow ups and we have no appointments available and we're not even sorry. No empathy, no kindness. "I have a job to do and I will not give you an appointment". She didn't even say "I'm so sorry but I have nothing available until....". It was just "No. We don't want your business".
