The overall quote was reasonable & I had no problems until the point that I was dissatisfied with the transition piece between kitchen & dining area. Most recently, the transition was glued down, but literally did not stick. I can pick it up. It also is not quite long enough & there is a gap between the wall and wood. He does an excellent job of hanging pictures, which I greatly appreciated as a side courtesy. but his level of responsiveness dropped from a 10 to a 0 at this point. Nothing is urgent on my end, but a simple acknowledgement of my text of concerns & pics of the issue would be appreciated. I feel disrespected to be completely ignored after investing a good sum of money in my wood floors with a guarantee of satisfaction. I am not seeking to bash this company; to the contrary, I simply would appreciate acknowledging the problem with a plan to follow up.

However, upon finding Carter Carpets, I was nearly instantly wowed. You won't find owners who are nicer or care more about the job. They gave us a start date that fit our schedules and the crew that came out was amazing. They were quick and thorough, made an effort to leave as little mess as possible and even offered up their vacuum. The price was extremely reasonable but if you factor in the outstanding customer service, it made the whole experience more than worth it.
