Pros: RVers get access to the hotel amenities like pool, hot tubs, gym. Restrooms and showers are very clean and heated! Lawn area surrounds the sites and my dogs enjoyed relaxing in the grass in the shade. Conveniently located near lots of restaurants. Cons: RV park sites are super close to each other. Must unhook tow or towed vehicle in order to fit into the space. Spotty internet. Lots of road noise. read more

Carson Valley RV Resort & Casino On a recent camping trip, our family's tow vehicle broke down and we had the good fortune of staying at Carson Valley RV Resort & Casino. I wanted to take a moment to THANK the friendly and helpful staff at Carson Valley RV resort. Lizzie and her team were compassionate and generous with their time and their resources. We ended up (gratefully) being able to continue our journey home after only one night. In moments like this, where stress levels are a bit higher than normal and there are so many moving parts, a business that can meet your needs is truly a Godsend. The park itself was great, by the way, and the other RV stayers that we interacted with were also very kind. This is a very convenient spot for an overnight stay or two if you're traveling through Minden Nevada. The park is full hookups and is located at adjacent to the Carson Valley inn casino which has excellent restaurants and lots of fun gambling options. There's a convenience store and gas station within steps of your RV spot. The casino and its restaurants are excellent and we will definitely be staying here again when passing through Midland Nevada. read more

Great location, the grass areas in between each spot are perfect. Trees were trimmed up high to not hit your RV but provide shade. Nice to walk to restaurants, casino. Quiet and well taken care of. My wife and I are seniors (70+) and military veterans. We've stayed at Carson Valley RV Resort in Minden, Nevada over the years because we enjoy the well maintained RV amenities and the casino and restaurant. Our recent stay started in late November, 2020. At $40 per night, (plus restaurant and casino), I estimate that we spent about $6,000 during our 3 month stay. On February 25th, while paying my space rent, a male junior manager confronted me at the hotel desk. He accused me (in front of guests and staff) of several contrived transgressions and threatened to remove me from the RV park. This escalated into an email exchange with the Director of Hotel Operations. The Director was unwilling to resolve our issues and booted my wife and me out of Carson Valley RV Resort. The first allegation was that I had an "unauthorized guest" who was sleeping in a truck near my RV. This is completely false as my wife and I are the ONLY residents in our space and it makes NO sense that we would sleep in a truck rather than our RV. The second allegation was that I parked my truck (and small boat) overnight in the vacant space next to me in order to move our boat into storage next morning.  He said we "deprived the park of a revenue producing space" although the park was half empty! I would have gladly moved my truck, if asked, but he said "it's NOT our job to ask you!" We were not treated with the respect and courtesy due us as paying guests at Carson Valley RV Resort. The Director made a half-hearted apology that "things could have been handled better" but focused mostly on showing us that he did not want our business. I believe that we did not intentionally do anything wrong that justified expulsion yet we were treated in a confrontational and hostile manner. We camped at Carson RV Resort in a travel trailer. read more

We arrived around 7pm after a long day of driving. I called the front desk and started to ask about a space when my phone died. We pulled in, got set up and figured we would make some dinner. At 9pm someone came by and I thanked them and gave them my card as we were already in bed., husband is on oxygen at night. They could NOT take it unless I got dressed and went with them. The Minden area is beautiful. We stayed 5 nights here to check out the Carson Valley area. The Rv park sets directly behind their gas station/convenience store. Not a big rv park. The sites are close together and not much room on each side of your rv. At the check in booth which you have to get out and use the phone at the booth to call the hotel to check-in. Sites supposedly are first come, however I learned later that they do sometimes save certain spots for some people. There is also people who look like they temporarily live there for work maybe long term. The spot they originally wanted to put us in was 30 foot. We are a 35 foot 5th wheel. After the 3rd phone call from my husband and talking to the hotel director they finally put us in a 35 foot site. We had to park our truck else where as it would not fit at our site. The RV park is next to the casino/hotel parking lot and the Valley lodge is on the other side of the RV park. We were at the very back of the RV park and I could still hear the traffic noise from inside my trailer. The RV park is popular as it is right off of the highway. There were alot of people staying 1 night and moving on. So as a small park there was alot of coming and going. The casino and restaurants were ok. We ate at the Cafe once and it was the same as Denny's food. We ate at their steakhouse and it took awhile for the food to come but was good, however pricey. The casino was small and dark. It was just ok. Not very much atmosphere. Mostly locals go there. Hotel staff were chaotic on the phone when we arrived and it was difficult to check-in. Restaurant staff and casino staff were friendly. Overall, I don't think we will stay here again. read more

This RV Park is centrally located in Minden. Just far enough off the main road to reduce noise. Very friendly staff and clean park. Very handy to have the casino next door with reasonably priced restaurants. read more

I called on July 7 for 2 nights and made reservation for July 19 and 20. I arrived at 1pm, and was given spot# 33, an asphalt parking spot, no shade, no place to extend my awning, so I walked to the registration office to change my spot. Only 40% of spots were occupied so I thought this would be easy to change. The registration desk employee said only one spot was available, #32, same as #33. Terrible service.....I walked out and left the RV park. Never to return. i did talk to the maintenance man in the park and asked him if spots were available and he said many were available. Thanks for the honesty too bad the office lady was unhelpful. read more

This place is very accommodating and nice! We are in the middle of moving but the home is taking much longer to complete than we were told, and this RV park has been letting us stay in the meantime. It is quiet, next to a nice casino with the best food and service. On top of that the price to stay is great especially when compared to other parks in the area. The bathrooms must have been recently updated because they're very clean, comfortable, and modern. We highly recommend staying here! read more
