I went there and everyone was extremely helpful, nice and professional. Brandon NPR removed them with no pain even though they were embedded in my skin. Next visit 45 days later I needed my drain removed from thigh and again couldn't get to UCSF and even though Brandon had never done this procedure before he removed it even though it was stuck inside my leg by scare tissue. Brandon thank me for giving him the opportunity to do a procedure he never had done before. Again ALL the ladies working were outstanding- sorry I didn't get names. His willingness to try saved me pain and anxiety in trying to find a way to UCSF! Thank you Brandon and staff at CVH URGENT CARE!!!

They had to make a call for a doctor to come to the hospital on-call doctors at an emergency room. I've never heard of such a thing.? Extremely rude nurses and doctor specially the female doctor that told me my cancer is nothing we get those all the time . I went into the hospital because my organs were going in the compulsions my body was not cooperating and then I get in a room and I've got five nurses in my head asking me what's going on I told them talk to my wife. They said no we need to speak to you. I said I can't speak to you. I don't know what's going on. I'm confused. I'm irritated. Please talk to my wife they refuse. I had my walking came in my right hand, resting my right shoulder on the Cane as they were on the left yelling in my ear, and they would not release their voices from disturbing me. Instead, they kept antagonizing me where I threw my cane in the corner, hitting the toilet 5 feet away. There's a lot more to this, but what I really don't appreciate. Is that my chart nonsense they right. They don't write about your diagnosis or any of that important stuff. No day right negative nonsense. I can't believe they said that I threw things plural things.. if I was pulling things off the shelf or wherever and just throwing it like a crazy person really!! And then they called security for no reason at all. I've never experienced security. I'm a senior citizen unbelievable. So I don't know how to say it in case Emergency go to that hospital otherwise don't I can't say that because mine was an emergency and then they tell me it's not an emergency between Gardnerville hospital and the Carson Tahoe hospital. Having lived in Orange County, California for a time (where medical jobs are extremely competitive-- especially at hospitals like Kaiser where my mom and sisters-in-law have worked) I can say I have a high bar for medical care. My husband and I have had nothing but good experiences in Renown; we have always felt that our children have been well cared for within the Renown healthcare system (and no, that's not because the staff knows I have family in the medical field, I always keep that piece of information to myself-- though I will say having family in the field is extremely helpful for confirming if the interventions being taken are good ones!). Our most recent trip was for my 22 month old who was having trouble breathing (oxygen was immediately provided at the first ER off South Meadows followed by a treatment of DuoNeb). Our daughter still labored to breathe after interventions so they ended up transporting us to this location's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Overall, I highly recommend Renown.

What could have been a terrifying and traumatic night was made so much less scary thanks to the incredible team at Renown's Children's ER. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was gentle, compassionate, and reassuring--not just with our daughter, but with us as parents, too. They explained everything calmly and thoroughly, and treated her with such care and kindness. When they found out it was her birthday, they surprised her with gifts after her X-rays, which completely lifted her spirits and brought a smile to her face. Thanks to their warmth and encouragement, she stayed so brave through it all. The next morning, she woke up and said, "I can't believe I did that. I was so brave!" That moment alone told us how much their approach helped her process everything. We're so grateful for the way they handled everything. They turned what should've been a traumatic memory into something our little girl could feel proud of. Thank you to the entire team for making a scary situation so much easier--for all of us.

Front desk staff should not be giving out medical advice! This girl didn't even let us get a word in before she even shut us down. And once again she had that annoyed/ mad expression. My sister asked for a doctor's note and she said " I can't provide that for you, the Dr. Has to do it" Sierra if you would of let us just speak you would understand we were not asking YOU for the note as you are not the provider that saw her or treated her! But since she obviously looks like she hates her job she ushered us out fast. We were able to get seen in the ER as my sister did dislocate her knee and from Saturday to Monday the situation changed! Thankfully SWIFT got us in right away as well! Please ROC do better with your front desk staff. We are coming to you scared, hurt and just needing help or resources as to what to do next.
