Ok, I avoid ARCO, I do...because they are usually arranged poorly from the start and people drive in and out like they are trying to run you down. They have two different prices for cash and card but to do cash you HAVE to go inside and deal with whatever angry human they shove behind that register (and I have had some insanely nasty ARCO employees) making the extra money savings not at all worth it....especially now that you have to walk in to pay, walk out to pump your own gas and then go back in to get your change! SOOOOOO, imagine my surprise at this location that I use my debit card and get UNDER the posted cash price...WHAT??!? I get to pump my own gas (yes, I am one of the crazy folks who prefers to pump their own gas!) but it is soooo cheap. Another thing I did not like about ARCO is that they ping hold a ridiculous amount on a card - and I get it...I pull up and see the person prior to me spent $80+ to fill their tank but I fill for under $30 even when prices are truly tragic so I did like that I can enter my "fill" amount. The downside was that I figured I would just add $15 an go to one of my actual super cheap gas spots when over on that side of town... and then I see that nope, I am getting a cheaper than that price. So I fill the $15, replace the nozzle, grab it again - rerun the card for another $15 and it draws another $8.13 to actually fill my tank. I am so happy to know the secret though - use your debit card! This is close to home too, runs all night and I love having gas up options.

Then why you working that's highly contagious. Anyways she just didn't like that I said something so she called the cops on me. Drama queen! Hope corporate looks into her. Shouldn't be sitting texting ignoring customers and rolling her eyes. We are trespassed until we get it in writing we can go back. But won't ever go back and not letting friends family coworkers stop there either. Worst service and horrible rude worker!

Costco is so responsive, popular and treat their employees right, who then in turn treat us…read morecustomers right. You can tell by the long lines, that this place is popular. During the cold or rainy days, many customers roll down the window which is closest to the pumps, so the employees can work more efficiently, which makes the service faster than if the attendants having to walk around the vehicles to the driver's side. (Of course, this depends on which lane you are in) Really, the lines are long, but as long as the customers pull up to the front station (which most of them do) the service is as fast as can be expected.

Even when we were the most tragic as far as the gas prices go, I was still way less at the pump than most cars since I have had 7 gallon tanks. I still tried to go back and forth between gas points pricing at Fred Meyer and my Costco membership... I refuse to negotiate getting cash to try to save money going to Arco since you then have to deal with going to (AND INTO SINCE CASH WHICH ADDS TO THE FUCK NO) and also dealing with the folks who angrily work and Arco and discover why they are so mad since you also get to deal with the other customers. I then started doing delivery driving so I am not just filling my tank a whole lot more BUT I need to watch my money more and am EVERYWHERE. Of course there are many main streets which I am often on. But I see A LOT of gas stations and notice the price differences which are pretty sizeable. There are certain gas stops which just have better prices. I filled up at what I thought was the lowest (Astro) and five minutes later I drive past Space Age which was nearly ten cents cheaper! SHOCKING... but instead of plugging in Astro first I go for Space Age. I did exactly that this time and then discovered this gas station was so close for so long that I genuinely just found the other day. Even better is that people in Oregon are not used to self serve so they all sit in line waiting for someone to do it for them. Take advantage while you can, like I did and roll right up to a self service pump and then out. Unlike Astro, they have a snack station too. I cannot report on that as I just grabbed some gas.

I did not realize how great of a snack station this little gas station has until I went in and I will say that it is a pretty great alternative to 7-11 or Plaid Pantry since both can feel fairly overrun a bit at night if you need some snack action. This place seemed to have a pretty crazy selection of options for all your snacking needs. Good luck with service though. All that being said, there is a great selection, produce is high quality as is the cheese, meat and fish. The staff is friendly and there is a Fred Meyer Gas Station right in the parking lot. The large turquoise planter I wanted to purchase did not ring up on sale even though there was a sign showing a discount, and the other planters rang up with the discount. It took awhile just to get someone to 'unlock' one of the carts by an employee authorized to do so. Rolling through the store felt ridiculous, since they have a random giant robot thing for self checkout. The only job it seemed to be doing was blocking the entire aisle in an already extremely busy spot... all the other aisles were already junked up enough with random displays. And then check out came. The motorized cart let me halfway through exiting before stopping so I got to sit there blocking one of the entrances completely mortified while one employee who just happened by because he was collecting carts had to go get an authorized employee to unlock the cart. The final crux to that was him asking if there was anything else he could do while walking away behind me... classy.... did I also, did l mention I have to park in a regular space versus ADA because the ADA spaces are not near the actual entrances... but at least I was able to get a regular space near the door so that I could drive away fast from this.
