I was excited to see Dr. Carson because she practices 'bridge medicine' melding allopathic & naturopathic medicine. But my experience was appalling. I presented w/ 2 specific issues, & asked to have tests done on these two items. I was sent to get tests, but the main issue i presented w/, was crossed out after Dr. C's asst (in whom i had VERY little confidence because of her lack of information, inability to answer my questions, or even pay any attention to them, & her many mis-statements) put it on the requisition. I called to find out why, & was told they were too busy to talk to me, & put me on hold. Twice. I asked to have them call me back at their convenience. They did, & i was told the test was removed because it was not a fasting test, & the others were. This info conflicted w/ the instructions i was given previously, & i asked why. Again i was told (most rudely) they were too busy to answer my question. I asked for an email address i could send my question directly to the dr's asst. I was told to go to the website & send my email from there. I had sent an email two weeks earlier that was not answered, so i asked to confirm that this address was being answered. I was told off (again, very rudely) by the phone attendant, that they don't answer emails! HUH?? The office person was rude, wouldn't let me finish sentences, & basically hung up on me. Later Dr. Carson called me to tell me off about being rude to her staff. I am appalled, this is the most unprofessional experience i've ever had w/ a Doctor! If the office cannot give consistent, accurate information, & is unavailable to respond to this, then they are not professional, & it indicates very low standards in their health care services. read more
