It's smaller than the markets I regularly frequent but it has the essentials you need, one veggie vendor and one fruit vendor. The layout is great, utilizing the space allocated for this event well and the vendors I interacted with were friendly and accepted payments other than cash. Love that Kaiser has partnered with this market, as to me it's a sign that they're putting their money where their mouth is, by providing members with access to locally sourced healthy foods.

They grow what they sale. They are eager to share their knowledge and wisdom. So friendly and enthusiastic. Always nice to share a sample berry or two, if you need a taste to select your berries. They are freshly grown and you can taste it. Fresh just tastes better. Great for freezing for smoothies. I love the raspberries and blueberries best. Forget the soggy bottom of the container berries at the grocery story. Get them directly from the grower. It's worth the effort!

I frequent them weekly from March - October, when strawberries are grown here in SoCA. The folks who sell at the markets (I mostly use Friday in Venice CA and just bought from Tuesday State Street Market in Santa Barbara, are terrific. Get there early because they often sell out.
