The Multi-Point Inspection performed the same day by their own technician certified the fluids as acceptable -- yet coolant service (not due until 120K miles), transmission fluid service (owner's manual states no service required under normal conditions until 112.5K miles), and battery service (not a scheduled 45K item) were all performed. Total paid: $1,188.88. Disputed charges: $344.07 in parts alone, plus associated labor. I requested a full refund of these disputed charges. Three written complaints to dealership management over several weeks received no response. Formal complaints were filed with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and Hyundai Motor America. Update (May 26): A member of the service team sent a follow-up email on April 27 attempting to resolve this matter, which was inadvertently filtered to my spam folder, causing further delay. We eventually connected and agreed on a refund of $344.07. I appreciate that the matter was ultimately resolved, though the process required significant escalation on my part.
