I normally love carrot express but this location was pretty bad. I didn't have any food so I can't comment on that but it didn't look very busy. Only one person inside and we ordered 4 différents types of coffees. The chai latte was basically sweet milk. No options to have a different type of milk... it took over 30min for our order. The 2x I came this week it took so long to order bc I was behind ppl asking lots of questions about food orders. Fine, but can someone else help people next in line? Yesterday I waited more than 10 min behind a couple ordering, and there were 3 ppl working the counter. No one asked to take my order. Talk about PERFECT!!!! First this location was right next to my apartment that I stayed. Within walking distance of my apartment AND the beach!!! I had the burger, the house made one not the impossible/beyond burger one. I asked the manager to make it vegan and they made sure to omit one of the toppings as it was dairy based. Kudos to them for that because that shows that they are knowledgeable of vegan options. I also got the sweet potato fries and they were DIVINE!!! I definitely think this place will be a staple for me anytime I visit Miami. Cheerful colorful vegetarian cafe right on Collins in Miami Beach. The food and staff are great, but the prices are a bit too aggressively high. This is our go-to spot in the neighborhood. My partner is a vegetarian and LOVES this particular branch of Carrot Express. This branch up by Collins and 72nd Street is much less of a hipster scene than the Alton Road at 17th one. Since both of us are intrusively nosey and social, they know our names and what we're likely to order when we come in. They even let us sneak in with dogs if there are no other patrons, and know the dogs' names. It's got a cool neighborhood vibe that way. The food is amazing. It's a cliche, but even meat-eaters will like this place. My top recommendations are spinach pie with melted cheese and some fat-free tuna salad. For beverages, one minor drawback is the lack of coffee, which is almost cruel at breakfast. My one real gripe is the price point. Certain menu items are reasonably priced and certain others strangely overpriced. This pricing doesn't seem to track with the price of ingredients etc. As an example, a very small smoothie with kale (see pic for size in proportion to hand) runs 9 bucks...I'm cheap enough to stop by Publix and fire up a blender at home for that! Parking is non-existent close by but there's on the street and a large lot diagonally north (pay-by-phone both on street and in city lot). Otherwise walk, jog or bike there if you can. read more

We ordered through Uber Eats and this was easily 2 meals (or 1 very hearty meal). Worth the heftier price tag! One essential tip - if you're getting a brown rice bowl, order extra sauce. Although everything was super tasty and filling, it came across a little bland/very dry after a couple bites. When choosing a "healthy" place I've realized you cant win them all. YUM! I always like going to this place because it's convenient and the food is good. It's not over saturated with unhealthy oils and fats. While I like eating healthy I don't like feeling like a rabbit so I do like some flavor and the dishes here certainly pack nice flavor. The portions are generous; not shareable generous but won't leave you hungry generous. Granted it's a bit pricey, but worth it. The cilantro lime sauce is epic. Today I actually used my Amex uber eats credit and ordered lunch from here. I got the LIV wrap, which has chicken, kale, avocado, quinoa, jack cheese. There's enough cheese to get the flavor but not a melting wod that is oh so yummy but pack on the lbs and guilt. Add a little cilantro lime sauce and yuuuum. The restaurant had my food ready from my uber eats order, everyone was wearing a mask and I was in and out with my delicious lunch. Decided to try carrot express again after many years. Shouldn't have done it. I spent a total of 43.00 on Uber eats for a kale Cesar salad, salmon added and 1/4 avocado and a juice. Never again. I would rather stick with Pura Vida if I'm going to spend money on a salad really poor size portioning. Granted the salmon was $10.00 it's self.
