The 2x I came this week it took so long to order bc I was behind ppl asking lots of questions about food orders. Fine, but can someone else help people next in line? Yesterday I waited more than 10 min behind a couple ordering, and there were 3 ppl working the counter. No one asked to take my order. After waiting for 10 min for the ppl in front of me to finally finish their order, they said they were OUT OF CARROT JUICE! Talk about PERFECT!!!! First this location was right next to my apartment that I stayed. Within walking distance of my apartment AND the beach!!! I had the burger, the house made one not the impossible/beyond burger one. I asked the manager to make it vegan and they made sure to omit one of the toppings as it was dairy based. Kudos to them for that because that shows that they are knowledgeable of vegan options. I also got the sweet potato fries and they were DIVINE!!! I definitely think this place will be a staple for me anytime I visit Miami. There is seating inside and outside, I opted to sit outside because it was a beautiful day and like I said it's literally a step away from the beach!!! read more

Cheerful colorful vegetarian cafe right on Collins in Miami Beach. The food and staff are great, but the prices are a bit too aggressively high. This is our go-to spot in the neighborhood. My partner is a vegetarian and LOVES this particular branch of Carrot Express. This branch up by Collins and 72nd Street is much less of a hipster scene than the Alton Road at 17th one. Since both of us are intrusively nosey and social, they know our names and what we're likely to order when we come in. They even let us sneak in with dogs if there are no other patrons, and know the dogs' names. It's got a cool neighborhood vibe that way. The food is amazing. It's a cliche, but even meat-eaters will like this place. My top recommendations are spinach pie with melted cheese and some fat-free tuna salad. For beverages, one minor drawback is the lack of coffee, which is almost cruel at breakfast. My one real gripe is the price point. Certain menu items are reasonably priced and certain others strangely overpriced. This pricing doesn't seem to track with the price of ingredients etc. As an example, a very small smoothie with kale (see pic for size in proportion to hand) runs 9 bucks...I'm cheap enough to stop by Publix and fire up a blender at home for that! Parking is non-existent close by but there's on the street and a large lot diagonally north (pay-by-phone both on street and in city lot). Otherwise walk, jog or bike there if you can. read more

Becoming really disappointed in this carrot express. It used to be great, i don't know what happened. The staff all seem to be high. They are not friendly and are honestly a bit delusional. Also, i completely gave up on ordering anything to go or Uber eats. The salads are SO BIG when you order in the restaurant , but are basically microscopic when ordering to go. It seems they are really trying to save money on supplies. The multiple times my salads have arrived tiny, i have complained and the employees don't do anything to help or rectify this issue. Please do better because i love your food. Sorry for the bad review but when a business you love deteriorates, you should listen to your loyal customers ! read more

While I like eating healthy I don't like feeling like a rabbit so I do like some flavor and the dishes here certainly pack nice flavor. Today I actually used my Amex uber eats credit and ordered lunch from here. I got the LIV wrap, which has chicken, kale, avocado, quinoa, jack cheese. There's enough cheese to get the flavor but not a melting wod that is oh so yummy but pack on the lbs and guilt. Add a little cilantro lime sauce and yuuuum. The restaurant had my food ready from my uber eats order, everyone was wearing a mask and I was in and out with my delicious lunch. The smoothie I had from here was good. They also have ginger shots in store which was very helpful in getting over a nasty food bug I got the night before from a local restaurant. This location is very convenient as it sits right on the beach side of the street. The four star rating is for the concern I had for their overall store cleanliness. They missed on the total "healthy" package you'd expect from a shop such as this one. I decided to dine indoors and all of their seating in the North Beach location is near windows. Their windows were filled with dead flies kinda spoiled my appetite after seeing that. Then I needed to use the restroom and as I was heading to the restroom I noticed how untidy and unclean the floor in the kitchen space was.
