It is across the street from the HIstoric Leadenhall Baptist Church. Various activities such as lacrosse, football, soccer, yoga, and other after school activities are offered here. There is a playground for the younger kids and cement chess tables. If you just want to sit and/or read a book, there are benches and a few tables in the shade. A variety of birds can be found. Hours of Operation: Fall/Winter/Spring: 1-9 p.m. Summer: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

You can come in and explore on your own, but they also have programs that work with summer camps and homeschool groups to have a more formal experience for kiddos. There are some animals to look at and appreciate, including a turtle (who loves playing with people who visit) and snake, and several birds in their outdoor aviary. They have free maps of the trails in the park, as well as some informational packets about various flora and fauna. También tienen folletos en español. A small park located in south Baltimore. There are some good treats located around that you can…read moregrab and take a short walk around the premises. The park doesn't have a ton of green space, but it has many athletic set ups, including volleyball, tennis courts, and soccer fields. It also has a playground with swings for the kiddos. It's surely a more lowkey option for a picnic. There are also doggies bags and trash cans to promote clean up after your pets.

They do have some parking on the east side of the park (by the tennis courts and dog park), but you really need to rely on street parking along Fort Ave. There are some bars and restaurants nearby as well as a church right across the street.
