These visits have given me a glimpse into the school's vibrant culture, and this review aims to capture my impressions of the school's environment, staff, and overall educational experience. My God daughter's participation in the choir has allowed me to see the school from a unique perspective, and I am excited to share my thoughts. Every year I'm excited to see what themed productions they will do because they never let me down. The productions are always so well done, with great attention to detail and a clear passion for the arts. You can definitely see all the hard work that is being put into it, and it's wonderful to see the students' talents being showcased. Kudos to the choir teacher for keeping the arts alive and for providing students with opportunities to develop their skills and build their confidence.

I appreciated that this CNA program genuinely cared about students passing the state board. They…read moregave us a lot of hands-on practice that was very similar to the real exam, which made me feel more prepared and confident. Ms. Venna clearly wants her students to succeed and encourages you to keep going even when things get stressful. Ms. Rojella is a strict teacher, but she demonstrates skills the right way and makes sure you understand how to do things properly. Her style is more firm, but it comes from wanting students to perform safely and correctly. Overall, the program helped me build confidence for the exam and gave me a good foundation for starting out as a CNA. From Nov 2025 class, Sylvia

A School I Would Not Recommend…read more In my experience, this was one of the worst school choices in the area. The experience with the assistant principal and office staff was extremely disappointing. I felt that communication was poor, my child went missing without their concern and the way my child's situation was handled was unacceptable. POC families, I strongly encourage you to ask questions and pay close attention to how concerns are handled before choosing this school. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this school to other families. Parents deserve to feel that their children are safe, respected, and properly supervised. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

If i could give zero stars I would . If you do take this class / job training, have a lawyer on retainer, or at the very least document everything so you can complain to Americas job center / B.A.S. Some things you may experience provided things haven't changed : Nasty OSHA violations like walking on glass shards without proper PPE, or using forklifts to lift things beyond their wight limit. Being bullied and harassed at every turn only to be told you are the problem. ( Threats from other students of physical violence, and actual physical violence at times) . Being told you can't talk politics and then having a teachers talk to you about politics all the time. The teachers give you a class on harassment, only to harass you and encourage other students to do so. This might all might be sufferable considering how short this program is, however the job placement is terrible, and poorly thought out. A lot of things are promised upon graduation of the program, and very little of that promised support happens. If this program in question doesn't go well for you, complain about it to Americas Job Center or B.A.S. as soon as possible. If enough people complain something will change. This program is advertised as a way to change lives. For some people in very desperate situations that may be the case, but for most the solution is to just seek out an actual education or career. Most of the certificates in this program you can get for free at a college, without having to do something like this. The certificates that cost money don't cost very much. The pay for the work you do in this program is meager at best, and is paid out on a prepaid debit card.

Gave a 3 star because of the good things I've heard about this school before my first experience…read morewith them. I had an extremely annoying experience just trying to enroll my child. I arrived with ONE person waiting. After about 15 minutes of not being helped, that person left to the restroom so I obviously moved to the front of the line. Another woman got behind me after filling out a packet, then the first woman came back and got behind her. There was one receptionist and alot of phone calls and kiddos coming through so I understand she was super busy, but with my receptionist experience you help people who are in your face before you help a phone call. After about 45 minutes of standing there(ONLY needing an enrollment packet) she decides to help the lady behind me FIRST, and then the woman behind her FIRST. I find that extremely ridiculous. Waiting 45 minutes to an hour for a packet to be given to me, and 2 people who were behind me being helped first, as well as multiple phone calls? Horrible. I had high hopes after hearing such good things about this school. Hopefully my child's experience there will be better than mine.

Angelica creates a space where communication is open, positivity is contagious and her support is always there when we need it. She has an answer for every question. She gives us encouragement when things feel overwhelming, and shares knowledge and words that truly sticks with us beyond the classroom. Angelica is the backbone to the Marsha Fuerst School of Nursing--bringing not just structure, but also the balance of responsibility and understanding that helps further a nurses competency. This school is extremely disorganized and does not provide adequate support for students or…read moreprofessors. Students' concerns and questions often go unanswered. They remove essential resources, such as access to printing lab work, and fail to provide physical textbooks. When they switch to e‑books, they still do not deliver them on time. When we ask Dean Michael for clarification, we do not receive a direct answer; instead, he shifts responsibility onto others. He rarely responds to emails in a timely manner--if he responds at all. The school does not provide the necessary ADA accommodations, and even after accommodations are approved, many of them are still not honored. This includes note‑taking assistance, permission to record lectures, or access to recorded lectures. Even in class, we often do not receive the materials we need, leaving both students and professors struggling. They also promise tutoring as part of their academic support, yet they typically have only one or two student tutors available--if any at all. This makes it nearly impossible for students to receive the help they were assured they would have. Another major concern is the issue of transcripts. During enrollment, the school promises that if, for any reason, a student cannot continue in the program, they will provide transcripts so the student can transfer to another institution. They even use Bakersfield College as an example of where students could continue their education. However, they are now telling students that other schools may not accept these transcripts, which directly contradicts what was originally promised. They also fail to provide class schedules in a timely manner. Students often do not receive their schedules until just a few days before classes begin, making it extremely difficult to plan work, childcare, transportation, or study time. When they are trying to enroll new students, they claim there is no waitlist and promise a guaranteed spot through the third semester as long as requirements are met. This is misleading. They only have a limited number of seats, and even if you are forced to sit out a semester, you are not guaranteed a spot in the next round. Overall, the school is highly unorganized, and questions frequently go unanswered--especially by Dean Michael. So make sure to get any promises made from this institution in writing. this is also from a friends account because I am afraid of retaliation since iam still a student
