On a Tuesday. i've come in there about four times and this is the same experience every single time and when the medicine needs to be signed off the "main doctor" is always out how is the doctor never in his office he's never there. every single time I call about this medicine they always say he just stepped out for the day. And I call in the morning like please make it make sense. My medicine is literally not life altering and won't kill me if I don't have it, but it's the simple fact that I'm supposed to be taking it regularly and it fluctuates in my body and I would like to not get off my schedule for it. it's so easy to not be lazy. I genuinely thought a bunch of older people. were writing bad reviews and complaining for no reason, but I'm 21 and the way they act is so old.. especially the ladies on the phone when I have to call because I have to call every single time at least once a day for about four days in a row and they get annoyed but imagine how I feel. My husband initially went in on Monday at 9:30 AM experiencing intense pain early in the morning. There were no lines when I arrived, the office was clean, and the staff were polite and professional. During the visit, they drew labs and gave me a referral to have an ultrasound done (which I was able to get done that day at 1pm). I was told that they would call me with the results once everything was reviewed. Wednesday, the clinic contacted us with the lab results, but they had no update regarding the imaging. I then called the imaging center myself and was informed that the ultrasound images had already been sent to the clinic Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday, I went to the imaging center in person to pick up a copy of the results and the CD containing the images. I called the same day (Th) and was told the NP should have the results reviewed by Friday. When I followed up today(Friday), I was told that it may not be reviewed until Monday. While I'm grateful my husband's pain has mostly subsided and is feeling almost back to normal, the delay in reviewing the imaging results feels unnecessary and frustrating. Especially considering the imaging center had already sent the results several days ago. Overall, my initial visit was positive in terms of the cleanliness of the office and the friendliness of the staff and cost of the visit. After calling they are more annoyed and don't seem to care that patients are left with no answers. The delay in communicating diagnostic results and providing follow-up information has been disappointing and has left me waiting longer than expected for answers. This is my second time going here for labs and imaging (first time with my son) and I didn't experience this type of delay so hopefully this isn't what usually happens.

However, during the visit, I was told that I could not be covered for an annual exam without coming in person. Since I live in Dallas and cannot travel to Houston, there was no point in continuing the appointment. What felt difficult for me was that instead of having my questions addressed, the conversation shifted immediately to payment. That left me feeling like money was prioritized over my care. I believe patients would feel more supported if their concerns were listened to first and billing discussed with more empathy. Being privately owned and family operated the family cares about their reputation and residents. The corporate facility had a revolving door of employees who didn't stay long enough to get to know the residents and their individual needs, not so at Ranch Lake. It is run by a family and a few other employees that have stayed consistent. The fact that Ranch Lake is a smaller place it means eyes are on all residents all the time . It's is a totally different experience than the large sprawling care homes.. We have experienced both types of care homes the large corporate type and the smaller family owned and operated, hands down there is NO comparison Ranch Lake offers superior care..
