As far as Todburn goes, their selection is on par with things I would have gone for: from the strange and unique to fun and playful. There is a particular bias towards Floridiana kitch, which I adore since I am a true Floridian gal. Lots of gator things or other vintage items you could have found at old gas stations of orange stands. Masks, kitchen wear, decorations, jewelry--they have a really unique selection of it all. They also have a pretty decent selection of vintage clothes. There were a few dresses I liked, but they were priced a bit much for me ($80 upwards, but I did see some cheaper clothes too). Other than that. Things were definitely within the affordable/inexpensive range, which is kind of an anomaly with antique stores. I didn't buy anything this trio, but I plan on coming back soon to see what new goodies they have!

Every time I go there is something new (though there has also been a lot of downsizing). The store is run by a very friendly gentleman named Don who has been in the antiques business for decades. He knows a lot about the items that her has, and sometimes he's willing to make a deal especially if you're purchasing more than one item. Prices are generally fair. Definitely worth checking out.

The store seems especially curated with vintage mid century modern, rattan, academic, and funky pieces. Might I add that everything is in amazing condition and of solid wood construction. The best part is everything is very reasonably priced. I met one of the owners Alex, and he was nothing short of kind and forthcoming. I will definitely be stopping by in the future to look for more pieces for my home. Do know that the store is only open Thursday through Saturday from 11-3 but they do offer appointments to view the store on other days of the week.

Tables, Chairs, Side pieces, the only limitation is your imagination here! In addition, there are many Indonesian and Asian based pieces that are imported and available to decorate your home. We were amazed and impressed at every turn and corner of this place! There are pieces for outside, for inside and for all the in between spaces in one's home. We ended up getting a beautiful table made from old doors, and I am sitting at it right now. We were able to take it home the day we found it. We also went through the process of ordering a custom made table and found the journey to be exciting, informative and pleasant! We are awaiting the delivery of that gem - a one of a kind table that will be the centerpiece of our new open concept Big Room in our home. I saw some of the One Star reviews and am very surprised - I found everything priced and easy to determine the price. Of course, I can completely understand the rule to not allow children in the warehouse - with no exceptions, because once you cross that line of making exceptions it's a slippery slope! This guy Anthony is a real piece of work... and by piece of work, I mean grease spot. Bought a slab…read morelast week and while I was waiting for it to be finished, I did a little research on raw material pricing with other fabricators because I thought ~$90/ BDFT seemed a little high. (Retail price: Live Edge Tamarind 61" x 20" - 26" x 2.5" = $2,200 + $500 full finish = $2,700) When I returned to pick it up, I simply asked him some basic questions about how they determined their pricing and showed him the other seemingly identical raw slab I'd found that was 40% cheaper. Mind you, I wasn't upset, I didn't want money back, and I wasn't trying to cancel my order - in fact, I told him I was looking at getting another slab for my mantle. The guy lost it! He almost had a conniption fit right there in the store. Raising his voice, yelling at me, belittling me for not understanding "how the business works", and getting EXTREMELY defensive about the pricing. When I pushed back asking him why he was so excited and said I was "just asking some basic questions about the pricing", he literally threw me out of the store - after I had just spent thousands of dollars with them. Told me I was no longer a customer, I was on private property and needed to leave. No exaggeration - this really just happened! One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had for quite a while. Seems to me that anyone who gets THAT upset and defensive about a paying customer simply trying to better understand how their pricing works for the next slab might have something to hide. So, shop here at your own risk but make sure you "know the business" and fair pricing before you go in - and avoid Anthony at all costs. Sorry Celeste - you were great. I have been to the new store 3 times in the last week or so and his showroom has been emptied and refilled everything because he has beautiful furniture... its definitely 5 star furniture ....Quality and affordable....And this is a family business and you will be treated as such!!!!
