Okay, I just moved here from Los Angeles, Ca including the desert cities. I have had many a dry cleaner. Some high end some low end and a few in between. Yes, Carriage is expensive. However, if you bother to read about the product/service they offer you would realize why they charge premium prices. Please stop giving businesses' poor ratings based on dollar amounts only! That gives those of us looking for great organic services the brush-off because you can't afford the service, or simply don't understand this particular services details. Overall my clothes don't have that just dry cleaned smell. Matter of fact they don't smell at all! In addition they are perfectly pressed. Macro rip off scam at it's best. Before I start, I have no qualm about the quality. It was on par with any major City's service but 3 men's shirts, 3 slacks, 1 sport coat and a sundress...60 Bucks? That's Luxury Hotel Fees! After questioning the bill (having used dry cleaners all my adult life, almost 40 years) I was reminded that we're in Cape Coral and that's a competitive rate but "here's a 20% coupon for your next visit". Not happy but I shrugged it off and handed her a blouse to clean. Upon presenting the same lady that gave me the BS speech and coupon on pick up of the blouse, BTW $8.50 I was told that the 20% is not valid because I DID NOT CHECK THE ITEM IN WITH THE COUPON and that she has no way of ringing it up that way!!! I posted this review a few weeks ago but for some reason it never posted... I can't believe how over priced this place is. There are so many other dry cleaners in Cape Coral that do just as good of a job for a fraction of the price. I lived in Washington DC for several years and I never paid more than $20-$30 for a load of laundry. When I first moved back to Florida I got my clothes cleaned here and was completely floored that they charged almost four times more than what I was used to paying in the city. I now go to a great little place in the Winn Dixie shopping plaza off Cape Coral parkway and they are a fraction of the cost. I bring my clothes in Saturday afternoon and I tell her I have never been here before and she says "Oh! Really Ok"! She ask me for my phone number and she begins to look over the clothes I brought with me. I ask her will any of these be a problem price wise and she says "No! No! everything is fine". To all those that are thinking well what did he bring in. Here is exactly what I asked them to dry clean: 2 - 100% Cotton Shorts $15.00, 3 - Regular Polo Shirts $18.00, 2 - Short Sleeve Button shirts $16.00, 1 - Long Sleeve Old Navy Shirt $9.00, 4 - Long Sleeve Dress Shirts $12.00 for a GRAND TOTAL OF $70.00. Now for all of you thinking why did he agree to that, well I didn't. The receipt they give you in return for your clothing doesn't have the price on it either. Come to find out they do not have a single break down of their pricing anywhere in that establishment. Nothing letting the customer know how much their services are. When I told her that they should have a price list you know she said nothing, not one word to me what so ever. So for all of you thinking of using Carriage Cleaners please beware, I don't know what your financial means are but I definitely don't have the means to pay $70 for the cleaning of everyday clothing. I am not impressed with the quality of the work. They regularly press wrinkles into my shirts, on the collar, cuffs and down the front. They are not good at getting stains out either. I will be finding a new cleaner. read more

I have been using Carriage Class for more than 6 months now. I drop off at their Fort Myers location on S 41. Kim has always been very accommodating to every request I have made. They call me with questions or delays and have done several repairs on my garments. I am extremely particular and critical as other cleaners could attest. Their prices are in line with all first class cleaners. And that means they are not cheap but reasonable. When you expect the best service you can not expect cheap. read more

TERRIBLE customer service and a complete RIP OFF! Took in an item to be hemmed and taken in at the waist...ended up costing me $61 and it wasn't even done right and they ruined my $200 garment. Tried talking to the manager and owner and they said it was my fault because I didn't ask for a price to begin with. It would have been one thing to pay the $61 dollars had it been done right but it wasn't.Shocked that the owner would make his customers pay for something they are not satisfied with.
