Dr. Carr's office called today and canceled my son's appointment for tomorrow. The office staff then put Dr. Carr on the phone, and he screamed at me, told me that I wrote him a bad review ( which I have no idea what he was talking about, and he refused to tell me about it), he screamed repeatedly and said: " I will not discuss this further." I asked for a refund for my son's glasses, and his reply was, " I will have my office staff call you and discuss whatever refund you feel you deserve." I said, "OK, but again, I don't know what review you're discussing." He replied, "I don't care and to seek another eye doctor. " At this time, this office owes me over $500 for a product I am not receiving, and they have not refunded nor given any indication that this company will be refunding me. Dr. Carr has an unprofessional manner in this case. Now, onto Coweta Eye Care, the office is connected through Dr. MacDonald. My son wasn't happy with the service in February with MacDonald when MacDonald snapped at my son because he couldn't tell the difference between the changes in lenses during the eye exam. MacDonald snapped and said, "Eric, if you're not going to try, I can't help you!!" He screamed at my son and almost had him in tears. We should have walked out, but we did not. It was late in the day, and I figured my son was his last appointment, so we pressed on. I don't recommend these docs for kids. The exam cost about $125, and the glasses I have yet to receive cost over $500. PLUS, Dr. Carr did not indicate if I would receive the paid glasses or any service for the changes to the glasses if they did not work out for my son. After posting this, I did locate a 4 STAR review 2 years ago which I left for this company, but I would not say it was disparaging by any means. A 4 Star Review doesn't warrant screaming at your customer and refusal of service. Especially for a product I have already paid for and not recieved. Professional companies would not treat their customers in this manner. They would do what they could to make it right. Due to this behavior, this is Not a company I would ever refer people to at this time. read more

Dr. Carr is easy going. He has a great sense of humor and is very pleasant. His office staff is always nice. The lady that fits people for glasses is super sweet. My daughter got her contacts and her glasses there. They wee very patient with her. Her glasses started to not fit right, the hinge was loose. The lady in the glasses department helped to send them back and get them replaced with no worries. My husband got his multifocal contacts with Dr. Carr. It took my husband a few visits to get the right fit. Dr. Carr made the whole process seamless! I priced ordering contacts elsewhere, but Dr. Carr is reasonably priced so I just get them there. read more

I would highly recommend Dr Sean Carr I have been under his care since 2004 . Dr Carr found a major eye Problem in 2004 that another Ophthalmologist did not find he found Psuedo Tumor Cerbri and sent me out to a Neurologist . and been following my care since , I have been to Neuro Opthalmologist and Opthalmologist for some other problems with the eye and the only doctor that has gave me as through eye exam was Dr Sean Carr and his staff they have the most up to date equipment that you will not find in other eye doctors offices . I was told by two other Ophthalmologist that there was bleeding behind the eye but went to Dr Sean Carr and he did the exam which was much more through than what the Opthalmologist did and it showed no bleeding behind the eye. So I would Highly Recommend Dr Sean Carr to anyone that needs eye care he is the best around and even beats out the Top Neuro Opthalmologist in Georgia when it comes to the best eye exam ever . First time patient and I was left with an excellent first impression. Office is very clean and modern looking. Wait time wasn't long (10-15 minutes total). Pre-tester cleaned all instruments before use (big yay!!!). Dr Carr has an excellent bedside manner. Visit to optical department to order new glasses was quick. Will definitely return next year and also will recommend him to anyone looking for an optometrist. read more

I have used this business for over a decade. I used to get wonderful service. Sadly, I can no longer recommend them. I could not even get a pair of glasses adjusted. I was told the reason the new nose pads hurt was that I had not allowed enough time for dead skin cells to accumulate on them to act as a buffer. SMH read more
