It has truly allowed my father to regain some of the normalcy that he had prior to developing Alzheimers. I am also eternally great full for the experienced care he has recieved. My father was a resident of several other assisted living facilities in the area which supposedly specialized in Alzheimers care. However, that basically meant most of the residents took prescriptions to calm them down. Once my father came to Mt. Carmel, his medication was drastically reduced and he was able to participate in group activities and socialize with other residents and staff. I always recommend Mt. Carmel to anyone with an aging loved one suffering from Alzheimers. They are simply the best!

Carmel have for their extended family. The first thing that attracted me was the comfy homey feel and the way the residents were able to walk around without restriction, but also had resting places as needed,nice outdoor areas which all means alot to Alzheimers/Dementia suffers and most of all many of the staff members have been there for more than 15 years witch means alot to me and my family. I visit often and bring my grandchildren and have never been disappointed except for some missing eye glasses or socks but this to should be expected at this point in our loved ones life. We are the ones who now have to adjust,understand and just love them as they have loved us in the past......May GOD BLESS all who walk through this time in our lives with us and for us and those who don't understand yet.!

Scheduling has been difficult and unorganized, and it often feels like the needs of families are not being prioritized. Parents already have a lot to manage, especially when advocating for services their child needs. A smoother and more supportive process would make a huge difference. I truly hope the office works on improving their communication and scheduling systems for the families they serve.

The Care Quality is very tentative and warm, while the therapist are working with the children. Very one on one, hands on. The Office Experience was warm and welcoming and I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door. The wait time was about 10 minutes until we were ready to go back for therapy. I'd definitely recommend this location. I was very pleased with the services my son received today. It was the overall attentiveness for me.

When we arrived everyone was nice enough and he was seen in a timely manner. The doctor was very disorganized and "frazzled". He was back and forth in and out of the room forgetting things. Well since then it's been 2 days and 4 phone calls later to try and get the meds sent to Walgreens for pick up. We've called to request them sent and they say they will and don't. The first issue was the meds weren't on the chart at all. So the tech had to speak to the doctor to even know what to request. I will now have to drive over there and request a script for the meds so I can take them to be filled. And now he's missed 2 days of work and still hasn't been treated.

IF Grace employed enough people, the level of care could potentially be improved, but the staff/resident ratio is severely out of balance. TLDR: They don't care about the residents, they care about their checkbooks.
