Granny Nannies provides care for my grandfather. One of the things I really like is the communication with the office. This is our 3rd agency and one of the problems we had was either no caregiver would show up or they would send some random caregiver without telling us. Thankfully Granny Nannies is very responsive and has crystal clear communication. His caregiver, Avril is always very professional and punctual. She really goes above and beyond. For example, she knows my grandfather loves Entemann's marble pound cake and we could not find it anywhere. She found it and really made his day when she gave it to him. We moved my father down here to stay with us after he'd been living in Pennsylvania with my sister's family for 5 years. Here is proof of one violent criminal arrested for cruelty to children and domestic violence. When I uncovered her criminal background I called them and provided proof of her background. I feared retaliation and asked them not to send her back. She was sent back anyway and my father died that day when she was on duty. My 83 year old father in hospice had to have his body taken to hospice and dissected as a result. I have had a great experience with this company. My nurse Lorraine is very patient and caring. She always talks me into walking up and down the halls in my apartment building for exercise. I hate to exercise, but once I get going I enjoy walking and talking to her. I really don't know what I would do without her. My neighbors even love her. I have had other nurses when Lorraine was unable to work and they've all been great. I don't usually write reviews but I have worked with other companies similar to Granny Nannys and they were pretty horrible. I won't mention any names. read more

I believe they have the best caregivers. My grandmother loves her everyday caregiver and the ones that fill in when we need someone outside our normal hours. This woman didn't just squeak through the cracks--she write a book about it and was still hired--in fact on of the longest employees at the firm.
