I was unable to attend to all her physical needs by myself at home. She was supported physically, medically, psychologically and emotionally with great dignity by the hospice team assigned to her, which included a wise and empowering social worker.

The owner of this facility's wife, Emma Horton who works at Buckhead Center for Nursing, has been on a power trip. She has used every bias, discriminatory, and hostile tactic to disrespect and domineer her employees. My loved one was rehabbed at Emma's facility, and a loved one of mine worked at that facility so I am privy to the interworks of the organization. My loved one experienced injustice and discrimination. On or about August 20, 2024, he was suspended and terminated based on allegations that he was not qualified for the Director of Human Resources position. He provided evidence of his prior work experience and was still terminated. He possesses a Bachelor degree from a 4-year institution and prior Human Resource experience. Then on today, we were made aware that the position has been filled by the RECEPTIONIST, an individual who doesn't even possess a Bachelors degree. How can the director of Human Resources position be filled by an individual who does not possess a university degree, does NOT have the experience, and was previously DEMOTED at this same facility because she was not qualified for the Business Office Manager position. So how can one then be qualified for a Director of Human Resources position? If this is not blatant discrimination and bias, then I'm not sure what it is. DONT ever send your love one in the care of people who don't even love themselves, or their people. Unacceptable and a terrible representation of black excellence.

This company wasted 2 months of my time, while my child was suffering without appropriate care. I…read morewas initially approached by staff at children's. They reached out to me later and they appeared to be unorganized, asking me the same questions repeatedly and going weeks without contact. We scheduled a videoconference which I thought would be informative, but they just collected info (which they should have already had). They never turned on their cameras and some individuals on the call did not introduce themselves. The nurse did not show for the videoconference and she decided to call me back after 9pm multiple times. She also sent me a random link and unsent it (I assume this was an accident). We played phone tag for a while because she did not return calls when she said she would. After we finally spoke I was told that the process would take about 6 weeks for us to hear back. I was also told that they had all the information they needed. After 2 weeks I notified them that my child underwent a medical procedure and her minformation had changed. The nurse responded by asking my child's name. Then I was told that my data had been shredded and they needed to collect it all over again. They she rushed me to provide the same data that I already provided to them multiple times. After another almost 6 weeks I was called and told that my child was approved for just 8 hours of care per week. This was a huge disappointment as she is extremely low functioning and is suffering in a daycare environment. QCL staff then stated to me that this was normal for her age and that it could be appealed by providing more information. This information was never shared with me from the beginning or I would have provided it. During the application process I repeatedly asked if there was any additional information that I could provide or that would be helpful, and I was told that they had everything. They asked for no documentation from me, only a form completed by my pediatrician. Overall this experience was really disappointing and I would not wish it on anyone. My family is struggling every day to make sure my child is in a safe health environment while we work, and QLC was another obstacle that got in our way. It seems like these people are in over their heads or too busy with other things. Further, this has significantly delayed my child's ability to find appropriate care with another provider. We are still waiting to try to resubmit her information to the state.

I called several places and inquired about their services and scheduling. I selected Holistic Occupational Therapy not just because they were near but because they asked for my number to have a therapist call me to answer my questions. They wanted to make sure that they could provide the services I needed and explained the services I inquired about. When I went in for the appointment the therapist did a thorough exam, asked questions, recorded my expectations, and explained the plan of care and the time and expectations. She then sent the information to my doctor for agreement and approval. BTW, my surgeon was very impressed. I never felt rushed and all my questions were answered. I have had various physical therapies before but I was most impressed by the online program that she provided. As I did my exercises at home I was able to let her know my pain level and the number of repetitions with each exercise. Therefore, in my next session, she would be able to measure my success from home and at the clinic. It made me feel more in control of my success! The office is a clean, organized, and calm atmosphere. Thank you to Tori and the staff! I give this office an A+++!
