This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I called them simply because their number was on the page of an assisted living community I was interested in. I asked to be connected to that community. I was transferred 3 times, each time the representative asking the same personal info questions. A place for Mom without my permission gave out my information to several other assisted living facilities in the area. I was bombarded by phone and email by all of these communities. A Place for mom is ONE BIG SCAM. Adds little to no added value to families and is directly responsible for the increasing costs of senior facilities year after year. They get paid several thousand dollars for referring to senior facilities they have almost entirely never even been to (imagine that). And by 'referring' what is meant is having one call (if that) with someone that submits their contact info online (sometimes unknowingly) and then blasting it out to every senior facility in and around town. read more

After filling out the information on their website, I was contacted within 10 minutes but a lovely lady who then connected me to a specialist in my area, Sharon Rice. We were in immediate need of a memory care facility and Sharon's knowledge of the facilities in my area was invaluable. My father and stepmother reside here, and their possessions keep coming up missing. Their clothing, a. 38 special pistol, and most recently, my father's insulin pen, which he needs to live. I can't understand why they hire staff that go into your home when you aren't there and steal from you! The pen was there last night, and gone today! It's disgusting that people would steal life sustaining medication from the elderly! If you love your parents /grandparents, don't let them live here! If anything happens to my dad because he doesn't have his insulin, you can bet your life that I am going to sue and get them shut down for good! He just now told me about this, and asked me not to say anything. I will respect his wishes, for now, anyway, but if one more thing comes up missing, or if something happens to my father, you better believe that holy hell will be raised, and then some! read more
