Dr. Cole she is pretty fantastic. She's the sort of doctor you wouldn't mind having coffee with if that didn't sound weird and was probably unethical. I've been seeing her for quite a few years she always goes out of her way to answer all my questions. And sometimes I have weird ones. But she never makes me feel weird. She's helped me in ways other doctors haven't been able to. And she has a great sense of humor. Whether a gynecologist is delivering bad news or a baby, I think that's a pretty important thing to have. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough. Yes, you might have to wait in your exam room for a little longer than you'd like. But you can take up time asking questions, too. She isn't going to hustle you like some doctors do. Tip: if you're ten minutes late to an appointment, you need to reschedule. Other people matter, too. So be on time!

They set me up with Dr. Packard. She was a gem! The office was SUPER busy when I went in, as it was just after the new year. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I didn't see the doctor until 45 minutes after my appointment time. However, Dr. Packard was very warm and friendly. She came in and took the time to sit and talk with me before the examination. She answered questions and addressed concerns I had. I didn't feel rushed at all. On the day of the procedure, I arrived at 6 a.m. after driving an hour, having taken the required pre‑procedure medications to dilate my cervix, which caused significant discomfort and bleeding. When I checked in, I was told the procedure would not be performed because Dr. Brenner had decided to go on vacation. The office claimed they had tried to call me but could not leave a voicemail. Despite having my email address and several weeks to notify me, they never emailed, mailed a letter, or attempted any other form of communication. The staff that morning was dismissive and showed little empathy for the situation, especially considering the preparation involved. They also offered no assistance in helping me recover the anesthesia deposit I had already paid to the third‑party provider. Based on this experience, I found the practice to be unprofessional and unreliable. I would not feel comfortable trusting them with future care.

I've used Oxford Ob-Gyn for both my pregnancies and have recommended them to any and all friends who are having babies. While other friends who have gone to Richmond, Connersville or other nearby obstetricians have had complaints, both minor and major, everyone I know who goes to Oxford loves their experience. Dr. John Harlan is the nicest, most thorough and trustworthy doctor I've ever encountered, and his nurse Anita is knowledgeable, sympathetic, and quick to return calls. Dr. Stein and Donna Bostick (nurse midwife) are also great practitioners - I haven't had experience with Lisa Vetter (a nurse practitioner) but I'm sure she's excellent as well. I didn't mind making the 45 minute drive to Oxford for my appointments because I knew I was getting the best care possible.

Overall, very poor business ethics/ integrity in how they run their business. I had concerns that I brought to their attention and in a phone call trying to discuss them, Dr. Bowen was very disrespectful and unprofessional in every way (especially for a doctor and me being the father of the child that had legitimate concerns). The way he talked to me makes me fear for the next individuals that choose to use his practice not knowing what's beneath the surface with him and his staff. I've been a patient with For Women for six years and they've delivered my three babies. If I had a…read morefourth, I wouldn't hesitate to return. I certainly felt like I got a lot of great one on one attention and they were dedicated to making sure I had five star care at all times. My second child was high risk and they took every precaution there was. I had monthly ultrasounds and any time there was a potential problem, they got me into a high risk OB to have a 3D ultrasound in less than 24 hours. If I had concerning symptoms with any of my pregnancies, I had an appointment and was seen by my doctor within a couple hours. You can't put a price on care like that. My only complaint is follow up outside of maternity care. I've had tests run and been told I'll receive a follow up call and I never do. Or a standard appointment leads to a secondary appointment and I'm told someone will call to schedule. They never do. This isn't a reflection of the amazing doctors, but rather someone behind the scenes who is dropping the ball. At this point I'm just aware that I'll need to wait a week and call to handle things myself. It's worth it to deal with such a great all-female practice.
