There's just stacks and piles of stuff everywhere - I have no idea how they find anything! The staff, while knowledgable, aren't generally friendly, and they're really, really slow to serve. They're easily distracted and the wait to get to the till is long - and you'll still stand around while they chat amongst themselves, go off and do other things while they're helping you. Don't go if you're in a rush!

Sure if you're up to date with all the latest games then it might not be great as they're often the same price at new but are second hand here. But those on a budget won't be buying games on the first week or even month of release. The staff here are easy going, and the store is grungier than the new ones. I like the place, but I'm probably bias as I've been coming to this store since I was in my early twenties, and will continue to do so as long as I keep gaming.

They don't keep an especially large range of phones in stock, but can order items in if necessary. I haven't tried this angle of customer service, but they seemed helpful and straightfoward enough for my specific needs.

When the Internet down at my house or I'm in desperate need to print stuff off, New Light comes to the rescue. You are in your on booth with your computer and they provide headphones as well. For an hour on the net its £1 and half hour 50p. The print-offs are 10p a page. The birthday cards and other celebrations cards cost under £4. The staff are always friendly and are quick to come and help when you are stuck on something on the computer. I like New Light, it is convenient to my life and useful.

I accidentally printed a b&w double sided page = 20p, and then when asked how to print in colour, was berated on not asking the shopkeeper first (not great customer service). If it's not clear, include instructions. It wasn't great that when I went to find her, she was inattentive and on her phone. Then I printed a double sided colour page = £1. Altogether it should've been £1.20, as I didn't use the internet. However, I was charged £1.50, I was shocked, and didn't realise at the time that I was being ripped off. She clearly had assumed I'd used the internet, or thought I was lying, and added a sub-charge, since I was evidently confused at the pricing (at the time). This brilliant lady offered to pay the difference for me, but now I'm even more upset that she graciously offered to pay for charges that I never accrued. Furthermore, my brother had attended this internet cafe prior, and had been let in to use the toilet - so assumed the same. Instead of informing me to direct him back, she shouted across the store very aggressively to a young child. Whilst scrambling to get all the change, I'd miscalculated that I only had £1, and actually had £1.30 - instead of delightfully informing me - she said so in quite a demeaning manner. Overall, I wouldn't patronise this store again. One computer is always down, if you attend at peak times - you'll be waiting forever, the shopkeeper tends to waver between hostile and/or disinterested and their prices aren't the best, or in this case, are dishonestly changed retrospectively. As for the rest of their merchandise, there's a post office just up the road that does just fine.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. I dropped my iPad 2 down the stairs, and the screen was…read moresmashed to bits. I called Apple (it would cost £200 to repair). I called my home contents insurance (they wanted £60 excess and couldn't guarantee that my premiums would be affected, plus their estimate was up to 6 months to repair it!) So, I went online and rather nervously sent off my iPad to these guys, using the 'express repair' service as I am off to New York next week. I sent it off last Wednesday recorded delivery, and received it back on Friday morning, completely repaired! In all it cost me: £79.99 for the screen repair £8 for the recorded delivery £14.99 for express repair. I was worried that when they got the iPad, they would suddenly find something else that needed repairing on it, and try and charge me more, but nothing like that happened and it was an extremely smooth service. I am sure that I could have done it cheaper, but Fone Angels guarantee their work for three months. They are very helpful on the phone, they emailed me at every step of the way and they were really careful with the packaging they sent it back in. Highly recommended!

This company is truly shocking. I sent them a phone and an iPad for repair a month ago (because…read morethey advertised a 5 day turnaround), and paid up front for the service. Then it seems I fell victim to Fone Angels Modus Operandi. First I received an email saying that they coudn't replace the glass screen on the phone without damaging the LCD which would cost an additional £93.00 (I had previously has the glass replaced by another company with no problems). I declined. Then I received another dubious email about the iPad saying that the Power Button Flex Connector needed replacing for another £44.99 (never had a problem with it). Again I declined saying that I just wanted to go with the original repairs. Like many others, after a week or so, I received their standard email saying that the parts they needed to repair the parts weren't available, and then stated that they couldn't give me a date when I would have the items returned. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Numerous emails later (including one to the MD, Tim Bennett) were all ignored. The phone was never answered. A month later I still don't have my items or a refund. I have opened a case with Trading Standards and will report them to Watchdog. How can this company still be allowed to trade like this?!!

However, at only 1.00 pH it is a good deal if you can get on one and you only want to access them during the day. They stock all networks of phones ie tmobile, vodaphone, orange, O2. Prices abit high ie I asked for the cheapest phone with a camera for a present and I was offered the Eriksson T280 for 49.00 plus 5.00 for top up credit. Or Nokia 6300 for 79.00 plus 5.00 top up.
