CEX is a good store for two things, one if you want to sell stuff, two if you want to buy stuff…read more The range of stuff they have is very good starting with DVD and Blue-rays to your high end electronic items, Laptops, games consoles and phones. The staff in my experience seem knowledgable about the items they are buying as well as the items they are selling. I have bough bought and sold items in this store, they are good at checking your itms and if they need longer to check items they have a system for that also. I like the fact that any item you purchase from them is covered by them for 12 months from the time you purchase it so if it develops a fault you can bring it back, better than buying off the web as you can go back and have a conversation not just be ignored by email!!! The shop is located a little way from the main shopping area but I guess the rent is cheaper for them. This store is always busy regardless of the time of day I have been in there and as it is always busy with people buying and selling they are obviously doing something right. The price they give for your items, in my experience, has always been better than mot places. All in all a good place to go for a vast range of movies alongside game and most electronic items.

They charged me £65 up front, took my no and said it would be ready the afternoon/evening of the following day and that they would call to let me know. The lunchtime of the following day, I happened to be passing anyway so stopped to ask if it was ready. Not yet, they said. So far so good. Later that afternoon / evening - no phone call from them and no answer either when I tried calling. I ended up going there in person only to find myself getting told they hadn't done the job because they needed my password to access the laptop's settings. Me: "So why didn't you call me to get it, or ask me when I was here in person this lunchtime?" Them: "Because we were short staffed". Yes I got my £65 back but I'd rather just have had my laptop fixed. Pathetic waste of time.
