We had carpet installed in 2012, within the first 6th months the carpet started bunching up everywhere. The carpet was never stretched properly. The person installing the carpet said the carpet would fluff up after a few days and with vacuuming, but it never did. It never fluffed up and is flat like there is no foam under the carpet. We don't believe we got the quality of carpet we ordered and looks like they installed a lower end product. We are going to have to get new carpet installed already again because the carpet they installed looks like garbage. read more

second time I've used them for carpet this time in my hallway there's a seam sideways as you walk down not lengthwise but sideways the owner came up and used a hammer and tried to bang it down and ruined the carpet seam thread and the seam shows up day and night, close to $5,000 for a sloppy job by the owner and installer and no service after. I would NOT recommend them for carpet at all. Don't waste your time and money with them. read more

It was not a huge square footage to take care of but I have to say they did a great job. New carpeting looks great. When we bought our new house we hired carpet source to remove carpet upstairs and on the staircase and replace the flooring. We paid almost 7 thousand up front. We were told that the materials would take about two weeks to arrive and then we would get scheduled. After 4 weeks passed we hadn't heard anything so called to follow up. We were told the materials had come in earlier in the week and that they could schedule. I'm not sure why we were contacted. They worked on the floors for three days and couldn't finish because they needed to order additional materials. After another 4 weeks we had not been contacted again. Again I called and was told the materials was there. Again not sure why we were not called. Had to wait several more days and on the day they were supposed to come we had to call them to find out why we had not heard from them. I wouldn't waste my time with them. Go elsewhere. read more

So, we spent over 6,000.00 on flooring. The guys who installed it cut our door frames so high it looks weird. When the business offered to repair it, they wanted to shove an un-matching piece of wood under and it looked even worse than the high-wire door frames. The floors have gaps in them, the carpet is coming up, trim is coming up, and the super high end carpet I bought is wrinkling up. When I called to about my life time warranty they told me I would have to pay to have them fix the issues. LOL, are you serious? You give a life time warranty, install it poorly, then want to charge the customer to fix your poor craftsmanship. Sorry, I was raised to do stuff right the first time or you will end up repeating it. That should not rest on the customer. I am going to add pictures of the stuff I just spoke of. read more

I'll start off by saying that I have done a lot of floors over the years. I have installed wide plank wood, laminate, ceramic tile, vinyl, and now engineered wood. I have never installed carpet, nor would I ever. Too intimidating. The process of purchasing flooring product has always been a headache, multiple visits to a local hardware store with several mistakes along the way. Bad advice and various opinions. I am happy to say that I have had a great experience. Carpet Source not only came out to my house, measured everything on the spot, showed me multiple options and their benefits, but also gave me some basic design perspective. Tim Hickman was more than helpful when finding the right product and price range for what we wanted to do. We ended up going with his suggestion for carpet in the bedrooms, that we love. He offered his crew to remove tile from the kitchen where I planned to install hardwood floors. He said it was dust free tile removal, I was skeptical but was left impressed. They were super clean. The idea of removing tile myself scared the heck out of me. I purchased the engineered wood through Carpet Source to lay in our kitchen, living room and our master bedroom. We have a rental home and a short time frame with a small budget to get carpet replaced. I found Carpet Source online and spoke with Tim. He did the in home estimate with my dad, since we live out of town. He helped us choose a carpet that was in stock, affordable and durable. The install was set for 3 days later. I was able to pay over the phone and signed the proposal by email. The crew called to confirm, showed up on time, did an incredible job! The job was done in about 4 hours and looked perfect. They were professional, friendly, quiet and clean. I had called Home Depot for a quote on the same carpet because they had a special running. Home Depot charges $54 to measure and give an estimate, their final cost was almost double the price from Carpet Source, and the wait time for Home Depot to install was 4-5 weeks. I am not one to routinely write a review. On a recommendation, I contacted Don Lavato at Carpet Source. Prior to meeting with him, we went to look at tile at a tile store. We were incredibly overwhelmed with the variety of tile and left with a few samples that ultimately did not work for us. During our meeting with Don Lovato, he asked some appropriate questions, looked at the area we were considering and simply went to his van, got some samples for us to consider. His ability to analyze our needs was exceptional and we made a decision not only for the tile but also for the carpet during this first meeting. It was simple and the recommendations made by Don met our needs very well. It was a very easy decision to go with Carpet Source. We ordered a significant amount of carpet as well as tile for almost all of our entire house. The project started with the removal of existing tile. I was told they had special "dustless tile removal" equipment. I was very skeptical as I know how much dust is involved in tile removal. The removal went as they described. Virtually no dust was generated. I can highly recommend Carpet Source for providing us with ideas to consider on the onset to an excellent final product. From the start, our experience with Carpet Source has been phenomenal. When Tim came to the door for our initial meeting, I was impressed with the tools he had, including the tool to measure our rooms and the computer program that he used to diagram our house and prepare our quote. He answered all of my questions and went out of his way to come back a second time to speak with my husband and me together. We bought over 6,000.00 in flooring. They cut our door jams an in higher than the flooring and did a horrible job. Now my door frames and base boards do not line up. They did not tack down the carpets, and the wood flooring has huge gaps between the base board and floor. The wood flooring is cracking and bowing up. the master bedroom carpet is bunching up. When I called on the "life time warranty" I find out that does not include labor for them to fix the problems. I did not even know about some of them because the home was vacant for a year. Their prices are comparable to everyone else, service/installation is scary, I will not ever be doing business here again and would tell anyone who wants the job done right to go somewhere else. The owner is a nice guy but has to get with his guys if he wants to offer better quality. My house was damaged by this company and I am not paying another dime for them to repair their crappy work. read more
