Always try to squeeze more money even if it's not needed. Or increase price. It's shady business practice on unsuspecting clients. Shady

I was pleased with my service. The visit was prompt, precise and professional. I scheduled a future appt. to have my grout cleaned.

Rejoinder - Paul Davis of North Florida…read more Paul Davis of North Florida continues to evade responsibility through denial and misdirection, despite overwhelming evidence of misconduct. If they maintain that they did not commit insurance fraud as i rightfully asserted, they must produce the signed Certificate of Completion (for the mitigation scope) they claim to have. I never signed such a document, and the assigned adjuster, Teri McGowan, confirmed she did not verify or approve the project's completion. The burden of proof lies with Paul Davis--not with the homeowner. I provided extensive, time-stamped photo and video evidence clearly showing that significant portions of the home were never cleaned or restored. Their own estimator, Randall Minor, acknowledged these deficiencies and confirmed that unused scope items would be removed and refunded to the insurer. I categorically reject the claim of any outstanding balance. In contrast, Paul Davis owes me for stolen insurance funds and damaged property. Their attempt to deflect accountability through vague responses is unacceptable and must be exposed.

CRDN of North Florida was chosen by our insurance company for restoration of linens damaged after a…read morewater leak in the roof. This was in Sept. of 2022. It is now Feb. of 2025. The linens were completed as per contract and the job was done well. No problems with the work performed. Only problem was that CRDN never provided a bill to the insurance company for the reimbursement (Verified with the insurance company) nor even provided to us. Under the understanding that the insurance company hired CRDN for the job, and that we never received a bill, a phone call, an email, etc. we had assumed that the bill was submitted to the insurance company. Low and behold, 28 months had passed, and we receive a letter from a lawyer for the collections of the bills total and interest accrued ($300+) over the 28 months. Not one time in the 28 months had we received a phone call, letter, email regarding this issue of non-payment. Per the lawyer's contract with CRDN, CRDN wasn't allowed to communicate with us regarding why 28 months had passed without notification regarding this issue. In order to close this process and not accrue further interest and additional lawyer's fees, we paid the amount. So, the moral of this story is the age old one of "Buyer Beware", demand that CRDN provide proof that the bill was filed with the insurance company and demand a written notification that they had received payment from the insurance company so that 28 months later you are paying the bill and associated interest accrued due to CRDN's poor ability to manage their dealings with their customers

The process of drying our home was acceptable. Dustin was courteous and informative…read more The restoration process was, however, an absolute nightmare. Once work got started we had cameras set up in our house so we would check up on them from our hotel room. The crew was very messy. They didn't cover any of our belongings while they hung drywall. They left trash everywhere in our house (food wrappers, soda cans). They goofed off, watched videos on their phones and did very shoddy work. I'd say at least a third of their work had to be redone. This was all because of what would be a constant problem: no supervisor on site. EVER. The contractor in charge of our job was never to be seen. He would occasionally stop by first thing in the morning to drop off supplies, but was never around more than 10 minutes. I was in regular contact with him trying to understand why things were taking so long and why they were being done so poorly, but I had to also figure out that he was a "fast talker". He would constantly make deadlines and miss them. Promise things would be fixed, but they wouldn't get fixed or it wouldn't be done correctly and needed to be fixed a second time. This became the common routine since he never inspected any of the work done. He also wouldn't provide his workers with proper materials and they were always back and forth to Home Depot or Lowe's. I can understand running into an issue and needing extra supplies, but this was every day. One day I happened to be home while they were working and they wanted to stop work because they had been given the wrong toe kicks to match our cabinets so I went to Home Depot myself and bought them so they could carry on with other work. It was ridiculous. This also meant that I became the defacto crew leader at times. I had to follow everything they did and make notes of what wasn't done correctly or done at all and report back to the company like I worked for them. Our bathroom needed a new vanity and I had to measure the space for a new one because he couldn't be bothered to. Surprise surprise, my measurement was incorrect because I'm not a contractor (didn't account for outward swinging doors) but he bought a vanity based on my incorrect measurements anyway. Two more days lost This went on and on for months. Meanwhile, my wife and newborn son have been stuck on the second floor because the first floor is a jobsite run by a company with no sense of urgency, but very excited to get paid. I made the mistake of giving them payment up front for the first half of work and I think that had a lot to do with them dragging their heels because once they heard I had a second check from my insurance company they would not stop asking about it. It made me wonder if they were having cash flow problems because they seemed desperate for the money. In case anyone reading this doesn't know already, you DO NOT have to pay up front for ANY WORK. Payments are made when work is done like any other business. But the owners and supervisors at Anderson insist they are entitled to that money immediately. It took a conference call with my insurance adjuster and them to lay things out plainly. They had dragged their heels long enough and it was time to finish the job or not get paid. They magically completed everything in a week.
