Yes the rug had been in storage for 2 years and was at least 25 years old. I called Leagacy and they said they have a "rug spa". I gave it a try....This rug came back as if it was brand new. They did have to re-back the rug, it is a 8 X 5 100% wool rug and the backing was shot. Neil delivered it and was very specific of all they had to do. I am an Interior Designer in Omaha. I have practiced my craft in 3 states over the last 25 years. This rug has seen a lot. I have encountered many folks that clean rugs, upholstery and carpets. I have never experienced the professionalism and care Legacy Carpet Cleaning provided me. Worth every dollar to keep a quality rug for years to come. My only complaint is that they don't have a spa that can do the same for me!

One bedroom with very light, low pile carpet had areas stained treated that did not come totally clean, and areas that appeared clean immediately after cleaning have "reappeared" in exactly the same place/size in a matter of a few weeks. This carpet has the "waterproof backing", so perhaps that's a factor? Not sure, But I will go back to steam cleaning for that room after one try with Chem-Dry.

We had to reschedule or push 4 times. Everytime we called to reschedule, they were so gracious. When Mac showed up, he was polite, professional and courteous as the seller was moving out, and we were moving in. He was in the middle. He stayed late (8:30pm ish) to ensure that he didn't miss a spot. So very thankful for his efforts. The house looks great. The tile looks brand new!
