Worst owner of a business I've ever come into contact with nothing but rude and swearing his head off at me. Not a way to run a business

Before hiring them I told them several times my floor…read morewasn't level and the only reason I wasn't doing it myself and was hiring them was because the floor needed to be leveled first. The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

Upon entering the store they seemed pretty helpful although the man Who 'helped' me was pretty ripe. I could smell him through my mask which wasn't a good sign. That aside we discussed what I was looking for, he walked around with a calculator and gave me an estimate but made no effort to write down what I had wanted. Apparently that's the customers job and then when I called to get a final price I was scolded and told that they wouldn't help me because I questioned the actual quote that was sent to me. Don't call the owner A.J. or the manager they clearly don't care nor do they want to discuss what my questions were. The store didn't have AC. It was hot. The management was lackadaisical and they clearly don't need your business!

I found this place because I really believe in supporting small businesses instead of the big box…read morestores. I needed new carpet for the family room and 2 sets of stairs. The place was little hard for me to find because it was inside a building complex. It was not a standalone store. Once inside, the place was much bigger than I anticipated, and it had tons of carpet of samples. Rather than browsing through the carpets, I told Ellie the salesperson what I wanted. She immediately showed me carpet samples that were spot on. I took home 3 samples to see them in my home, and Ellie came over later that day to measure. I purchased the wool carpet the same day. It couldn't have been faster or easier. Carpet installation was supposed to take two days. At the last minute, we decided to move the furniture before the installers got here at 10:00-10:00 am so that they could finish in time. Tony and Ron got to my house at 9:00 am, which was great. The earlier the better. They had pre-cut the stair runners at the shop, so that made installation much faster. Tony sewed the binding on the stair runners right on site, which is a huge time saver. They did a terrific job seaming the carpet across 26' in my family room. It was put in smooth and tight. Just perfect. The job was supposed to take two days, but since they were ahead of schedule (because there was no furniture to move), they elected to work until after 7:00 pm. I got all the carpet installed in one day instead of two. No one ever works that. All my other contractors start looking at their watches at 3:00 or 4:00 pm. The guys were very friendly, clean, fast, and SKILLED. I would absolutely go with this company again. Everyone was on the ball, and knew how to do their jobs. My husband and I are really happy with the service, selection, and final result. I bought 475 sq ft of pure wool carpet for a final installed price $5367. Worth every penny. You get what you pay for. The house looks great.

We had Custom Floors Design come in to our downtown Boston space and install about 3000 square feet…read moreof carpet. The old carpet was beyond hard to get up. The glue was harder than cement and it caused a lot of problems when they were removing it. I had given them a tight window to do the install and Jermie and his crew worked tirelessly to make sure they removed it properly, created a nice surface to lay the new carpet, and got the new carpet installed in time. I'm not sure how many other companies would have put forth the extra effort he did. They did such an amazing job for my company that I had them come and carpet the entire second floor of my home and install bamboo flooring in my home office. In short, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will use them for all my future flooring needs!

I had brought a family heirloom oriental carpet to another oriental rug specialist after some moth…read moredamage. They "cleaned" and held the rug for months, didn't repair anything, and then told me it was beyond repair but they could spray paint the badly damaged areas. I picked up the rug and brought it straight to Koko Boodakian, where they not only thoroughly and properly cleaned the rug, but hand-repaired the rug in-house, all in much less time than it took the other place. Color and pattern matching is excellent. And Sager, my main contact, was fantastic. The rug may not be perfect but it's pretty close. Thank you Sager and Koko for saving a very special carpet for me! I know who to trust with my carpets.

They have an amazing selection of rugs from different parts of Iran and other countries as well. They also have a vast collection of vintage rugs. The owner has immense knowledge about each rug and is a trusted rug appraiser. I have bought few rugs from this place. Each rug is a unique piece and represents a different design and culture. All handmade and from wool, cotton and other organic materials. I got my last rug when I was in Ohio. The owner sent me images of a collection all with very affordable prices. He shipped the rug to my address with no hassles. I received the rug and immediately saw an upgrade to my apartment and everyday life. Feels great to walk on a piece of art made from organic wool material. Of course these rugs last hundred of years and are sustainable with no plastic in them.
