My wife and I had gone to several other flooring companies in the area and just could not find what we were looking for. But when we went to Direct Flooring, Jeff immediately understood what we were wanting (color, quality, price, etc.) and steered us right to the exact product that we needed for our home. After getting measurements from his installer (James), Jeff gave us a fantastic price including a veteran's discount which we greatly appreciated, for the flooring and new baseboards. The installer - James (Flooring by James LLC) - and his team (Kirk & Darnell) came out on the day we selected; on-time, well prepared and extremely professional. They worked several days in a row to finish the job and, again, we couldn't be happier. The flooring and new baseboards look fantastic - not a single negative issue at all, Everything was done to perfection. We highly recommend Jeff at Direct Flooring and be sure to ask for James to do the install. Thank you Jeff, James' and team for a job very well done!

    We hired Floor Mart for a whole-home tile installation, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moredeeply disappointing. While the scope of the project was large, the execution lacked professionalism from the very beginning. The installation crew was clearly inexperienced--something the crew leader openly acknowledged, stating that several workers were still in training. Throughout the install, numerous baseboards, walls, personal property and existing finishes were damaged. Despite providing both photos and videos documenting these issues, the owner refused to take accountability. Instead, he became hostile, personally insulted me, and accused us of being unable to pay our bill--despite having received bank records showing our general contractor had been paid in full two months before the project even began. When we withheld final payment until repairs were made, the owner filed a lien on our home. He issued a partial credit for some of the damage but never took full responsibility. Once paid, he refused to complete the remaining punch list items--despite previously agreeing to do so in writing. Contrary to the owner's public response to my original review on google, the job was not completed. My husband and I had to finish grouting, repairing damage, and repainting--tasks that were Floor Mart's responsibility. Claims that all punch list items were resolved before payment are false, and I have timestamped written communication confirming the owner's refusal to finish the work. The accusation that I was abusive or made derogatory comments toward the crew is categorically false. I was direct in addressing the quality issues. For example, many baseboards were installed damaged. At my husband's request (he was working for our GC at the time), I marked damaged baseboards with small check marks using a Sharpie to indicate which ones needed to be replaced. No marks were ever made on the flooring. One mark was made on the wall to identify a large hole the crew created during demo--damage we later had to patch ourselves. Floor Mart claimed they sent a painting crew to cover these marks, but that's inaccurate. The painting crew was sent to clean up orange caulk lines, dirt, and grease left by the crew--not to cover Sharpie marks. Had all the damaged baseboards been replaced, the sharpie marks would've been gone. There were no other subcontractors present during this project; Floor Mart's crew was the only one on-site. Any claim that other subs had issues with me is categorically false. Our general contractor--a close family friend--has never made derogatory remarks about me or my mental health and neither has my husband who was equally disappointed in this experience. That accusation is a defamatory and dishonest attempt to discredit a legitimate complaint. To be clear: I have written, time-stamped communication, including messages with the sales rep (who was great), that fully support everything written here. This job did not go south until the owner got involved. The photos I've attached show real, unresolved damage and poor craftsmanship--not misleading "extreme close-ups." I'm writing this review to help others avoid the stress, cost, and conflict we experienced. If you're considering Floor Mart, I strongly recommend exploring other options. Pay close attention to how he responds to this review and to others with negative criticisms of the business.

Friendly greeting immediately, very fair pricing, we left our giant thick impossible rug there and got a call a week later that it was ready for pick up!! We didn't have to follow up with them which is rare these days. They even gave us back the remains of the extra pieces of our rug. The binding was top notch quality work. We couldn't be any happier! We are currently re doing our historic home and this is my only stop for carpeting, binding, and tile. So much to choose from and unlimited abilities to customize your home. If you are in the market please make this your first stop, you'll need to look no further! P.S. the most plush, thick carpet EVER!!

    I have used Britts carpet for over 15 years and always had a good experience,…read moreI don't know what happened BUT this time was a nightmare. we purchased the Vinyl Plank Flooring they came out to measure; they gave us an estimate for the materials and labor to install ,they added some prep work as well for the floors. we agreed on a price , we gave a deposit and scheduled the work. The few days before the installer called and wanted to come a day early which was the 4 of July, I said not a problem, I did tell him we need some floor prep I wanted to make he was aware. now the day of installation the head guy comes in crazy like he did not know we had to prep the floors ,this is more work then he was told , now he is telling me it is going to cost me $5000 more if I wanted it done right , well of coarse I want it done right but I am not spending $5000 more .I have a estimate already and a contract for a specify amount , $5000 is more then the Floor product cost . let me mention this is only 1000 sq ft area. so after 1 hour of going back and forth trying to get these guys to do the floors, they left the JOB. Since it was a holiday, I had no one to speak with , so the following day I told Britts my experience, they apologized for this told me they will talk with the installer, they never offer to get another installer out, I never hear don't worry we will make this right for you, " Just I am sorry this happened." so I said just charge me for the floor material I will find an installer, they delivered the floor to my house . I am very disappointed with their follow through on this I guess they are so busy right now losing a long time customer doesn't matter.
