Every single time I go in they already know who I am and are very kind and friendly. They've called with last minute cancellation openings and even texted when I was unable to answer. As for the provider, my therapist (Dr. Jon Sakoda) has also been amazing! I had a full ACL and meniscus repair and he has answered all of my questions, worked with me on building strength in a reasonable timeline, and I have always felt like he listened and made adjustments whenever necessary. I truly feel that everyone I've come into contact with at Hayashida genuinely cares about my health and wellbeing, and that can be hard to come by in a medical setting! I'll be forever grateful to everyone at that office and will actually be sad when my treatment ends.

This review pertains to the practice, not the therapist. My physical therapist is wonderful, but if…read moreI need PT in the future I will go elsewhere. The issue is administrative - Sutter dictates that you can only make two appointments in a row instead of scheduling further out. The problem is that very often there is no availability. My therapist has instructed me to return weekly, but, for me, half the time the appointments end up being every two weeks. That has made it more difficult for me to meet my treatment goals - the therapist says we will add something new next week, but it ends up being two weeks later. That not only means that it takes much longer to complete your treatment, but the long gaps can lead to a less successful result. Update: I found this note in my Sutter chart: This patient got all rude as soon as she couldn't get an appt when SHE wanted. She is non post op and doesn't understand why Sutter Health has a policy of only 2 appts at a time when SHE needs to get in. She said she wrote a bad review about our practice and will continue to talk bad about our practice, but not the therapists. She is very unhappy and says she will probably look elsewhere. It is not like it was a matter of my convenience and I insisted on mornings when they offered afternoons or I wanted a Monday and they offered a Tuesday. I was trying to comply with my therapist's instructions to return weekly - it had nothing to do with what "I" wanted - but it is true, I don't understand why they only make two appointments ahead. I have had lots of PT over the years and they have always scheduled multiple appointments at the start of treatment and sometimes even all of the appointments for the duration of the treatment plan. In addition, I absolutely did not say that I talked "bad" about the practice. What I said is that I could not recommend it to others because of the way they schedule appointments. I stand by that opinion, and I should I need PT in the future I will absolutely seek care elsewhere.

Dave Dallmeyer and his crew got me back on my feet and back to my regular activities and I am truly thankful for what they did for me. Beyond the normal patient-doctor stuff, the staff at Dallmeyer truly care for your recovery, your well-being, and your future. I actually miss my physical therapy appointments. I wish I could just go there to get put through my regular workouts. Special shout out to Omar Flores who was my primary trainer. Wow. What an amazing human being, seriously. He pushed me in a way that he knew I could handle, and when my knee didn't respond he was able to dial it back. But whether it was me or someone else in there to receive treatment, I could see that Omar cared for his patients and was able to tailor a regimen specific to whomever he was working with. His love for his work comes out in everything he does and he is a real asset to Dallmeyer PT.

The first session, I waited an hour before I was actually seen then I was put on a table for another 45 minutes with an ice pack . I did notice that Dr. Dallmeyer seem to be the only PT in there with Multiple clients waiting. That was my red flag on my first visit, I decided to try it one more time the next time it was prompt I was able to get in and not have to wait in the waiting room for an hour, but again I was put on a table for about 40 minutes with an ice pack on my knee, and then Dr. Demeyer came and proceeded to do a aggressive massage on my leg, which I had surgery on in July. I asked if he could not do it so hard, as he was pressing hard on the back of my knee, not sure of my exact wording, but he got upset,as his tone in his voice was definitely annoyed with me. He said OK then get up go over there. I was sent to a man that walked me through a few exercises and I can be pretty certain this person had no training as a certified physical therapist or assistant and on that last visit, my second visit I thought this makes sense He's the only physical therapist in there, he's got multiple people in there waiting for him so he cuts costs by not paying Actual certified physical therapist, or in training PT so the patient is made to wait If I would've read his review before I picked him, I would've definitely declined and I wish I had because I'm seeing some of the same complaints that I had. Please check SB Physio, excellent PT, when you go into your appointment, they are prompt. They take you and you're one on one. You're not on an assembly line waiting for the one person that's actually certified to assist you. At Dr. Dallmeyers , they give you a hand printed paper with descriptions of exercises you're supposed to do, at SB Physio. They have an actual app that they have and they track your progress each day as you complete your daily exercises. Nite and day on these 2 PT offices ! Again, I strongly do not recommend Dr Demeyer!
