We just had the BEST car buying experience here! We found the car (Subaru Outback) we were interested in online and drove up from the Central Valley to check it out. Absolutely loved it, it was clean and obviously well taken care of by its previous owners. Actually, all the cars on his lot seemed really nice. After test driving it, I asked them if they could just check out what looked like might be a small leak from the oil filter, thinking it might need to be tightened up or a new gasket. While checking, their mechanic noticed a potential problem with the timing belt cover and that the radiator looked a little brittle. Baja had them replace everything and covered the cost completely. We walked (drove) away with a new water pump, radiator, timing belt and cover, etc at no additional cost. It was abundantly clear that he cares about his buyers and that they get a good car without problems cropping up. I especially appreciated it, as this was our 18 year old daughter's first car purchase, and she and I were doing it together. He treated us women with respect and didn't try to gloss over anything... He went above and beyond to make sure the car was in excellent condition for us! Also, all the employees were kind and considerate... we had my newborn son with us, while car shopping (yikes!) and they offered me a cool place to nurse him and some water to hydrate... so thoughtful! I highly recommend Carology to anyone looking for a straightforward transaction with an upstanding crew! They drive the cars as their own personal vehicles, take them home and go on trips. Refused to sign my cancellation form for the extended warranty which is my right and the LAW, so legal actions have been filed since they don't know how to read their own contracts. SCAM. I'm afraid we may be in a similar boat with this "dealership." We have called him 4x asking for the title for a car purchased in January (it's now the first week of April). Baha tells me last week that plates have been mailed and title submitted to DMV. When it didn't arrive, he then tells my husband he didn't say that and that he will, "ask the secretary when she mailed it" and to text him on Monday; no response to the text and now my calls go straight to a generic voicemail. This guy Baha is the worst dealer I've ever dealt with. First it took me 3 weeks to get my money back from him in regard to paying him to fix my brakes. He took my $200, then didn't do the work. After rescheduling, still didn't happen because the guys never showed up. He forwards all of his calls. I had to wait 2 hours for him to arrive to finally give me my money back, after giving me excuses after excuses on why he couldn't just give me back my money for something I already paid to take care of. It's also been nearly 40 days without receiving my registration and title that he supposedly has "a guy for," and was supposed to hand over to me February 11th per his word after purchase and I have witnesses to attest to this. At this point I'm going straight to the authorities in the morning, and bringing in my attorney if necessary. I'm over it, and wish I had read the reviews before buying from this place. BUYER BEWARE! Left a deposit so I could have one of their cars inspected by my mecanic. Inspection found the motor and transmission to be leaking "everywhere", ball joints split, tie rod ends split, etc... Returned the vehicle and owner Baha was not there and would mail my refund the next day. Been told for the last month that there was a family emergency and the check is in the mail a number of times.
