I opened one of the letters and decided to give them a shot. It's true I wasn't savvy about insurance, so I thought I'd meet with them to see what they had to offer. Randy Robbins appeared at my door on a Saturday. He couldn't have been more friendly and he was great at explaining the different options available to me. I do think that educating oneself about all things insurance is not exactly fun, but it's very necessary and totally worth doing. I enjoyed my time with Randy and I felt like I learned a lot. He did not pressure me, he came equipped with many variables and different options and I didn't feel like I had to agree to anything. If you're in the market for mortgage insurance, then give Randy Robbins a call :-)

He initially gave me pretty good deal on my auto policy and he was always upfront about what coverage I need versus what he recommend and good for me. I have heard that Allstate is expensive but I have had other companies give me a quote and they were all close to what I currently pay. When I had to use Allstate to replace my roof after hail damage, Allstate was so easy to work with. ( I have both my auto and home with them) I had an agent that I didnt like but was to lazy to change. Allstate dropped her and transfered my policy to David Cash. I have never met or spoke with David directly but his staff is great. I get updates when payments are due & made and when my credit card on file is about to expire. Since my policy had been transfered, they never reviewed it with me until it recently renewed. As they reviewed my policy they noticed changes and recommended them to me. They werent pushy trying to sell me but made sure I was appropriately covered. It's been great having my policy with them.

In my experience, caring about the customer is more of a slogan than a real action with most insurance offices. I've been in some offices where the people made you feel like an intruder into their quiet day while others were friendly enough but kept getting up to handle other people's needs, putting you on hold every few minutes even in person...and once during an appointment time! (The interruptions were so bad that I finally had to say something.) Still others would be standing outside...open the door for you...tell you "I'll be right in"...and then close the door and light up a cigarette, probably thinking I couldn't see them. Sigh. BUT NOT WITH ELITE INSURANCE CO! 413 S. York St Gastonia NC, 28052 704-867-0731 That's why I'm writing this review! Most drivers have experienced the same kind of unprofessionalism in the past that I have. But Elite Insurance Co has been nothing BUT professional and helpful. Throughout these past three years after selling our motorhome and buying our present car, I have spoken with several of the ladies working there at Elite, most often with Office Manager Tammy Charles, and everyone has treated me like I'm a worthwhile friend! But they're not just very nice people, they're very knowledgeable, too! And if they don't have the answer to one of my questions, they WILL find it and let me know within a day or two! They have proven that I can trust them. So here's the Bottom Line to my Review: if you aren't completely satisfied with how your present insurance office treats you, I recommend that you either stop in or call 704-867-0731and speak with Office Manager Tammy Charles or any one of the ladies working at Elite Insurance Co. There's obviously nothing to lose by talking with them, right?! And maybe there will be something gained...like being happier with an insurance company that IS professional and treats you like a friend, not just "another customer"! :)

Attn: Ralph Brittian State Farm…read moreConcord NC Subject: Complaint Regarding Denied Structural Damage Claim Dear Mr. Brittian, I have been a loyal State Farm customer for 33 years, consistently paying my premiums on time. In all this time, I have only needed to use my insurance services twice. Most recently, I had to pay $10,000 out of pocket to repair structural damage in my kitchen, despite having $21,000 a year in structural damage coverage clearly listed on my policy. I am deeply disappointed that my claim was denied. I have also spoken with others who have had similar experiences. After my first claim, State Farm increased my deductible, and now my coverage is not being honored as described in my policy documents. I can no longer recommend State Farm to anyone. I urge others to consider alternative companies before it's too late. After 33 years of loyalty, I feel let down and taken advantage of. Sincerely, Felicia L.Stanback
